To me he never really sounded like he wanted to be there at all. I guess I'm watching videos where he has already burned out, but you basically just forget he's there except for random quips.

@@dimitrikemitsky if you only watch the minecraft and gta 5 letsplays that came out from 2014 and onwards, then yeah of course he sounded like he hated being there. but in every other letsplays that were relased in 2014-2015, that were not gta or minecraft, he was still his old funny and happy self. i feel like the notion of "all ray do is stay silent and give funny one liners once in a while" was made so that the AH community could move on from him after he left (started by michael at rtx after that one stupid question by the audience), which was fine and a good move tbh, but now that its been 6 years since he left, im kind of tired seeing people saying that he didn't do much when he was at AH, especially when a lot of early AH shirts were based on jokes made by ray.

Lauren Grey Gavin had been playing Minecraft since before the rest of Achievement Hunter; in Episode 1 they mentioned that no one had played it before except Gavin. Since episode 1 was released on May 11 of 2012 (literally 2 days after the Xbox Minecraft was released), it's highly likely that he had been playing it on PC, so he would've had the username before the "fanboys" would even have the chance.
