It costs 2 gems to add a second die, 3 gems for a third, 4 gems for a fourth, and so on... adding the dice into your attack pool does not cost one gem each. You guys were rolling insane amounts of dice!

This whole Play-doh gimmick with the molding and squishing of your figures is such a fun, fun idea. Absolutely charming.

Imagine this with WH40K, D&D, Starship Troopers, Battletech. To keep it visualy like toys, but it's still a boardgame or tabletop warfare in general. The aspect of creating a unit in this boardgame, that reminded me of how the Governator was done in that T2 teaser.

This time, it turns out game balance doesn't care about wrong rules, as long as both players are playing by the same wrong rules...

That's not entirely true. The game isn't necessarily symmetrical. The way they added dice into their pool meant higher stats were less meaningful, for instance. Also, the game gives priority to whoever has less models left, which should be an active balancing mechanic they were missing. In short, it's dependent on what your army looks like. Models are balanced based on rules not being followed and balance gets wonky. The game isn't really about balance though. It just kinda hurt to watch as someone who cares about design.

I don't know what it's technically refered to as but I call it instagram comic style. A smattering of metal, punk, and pop culture inspirations all mixed up in a chunky, vibrant, bold style. Very reminiscent of adventure time and the new age cartoons and indie comics coming out nowadays

I’ve got a bunch of homies that I never get to play games with because I’m the war game guy in our group and I might get this to introduce them to war gaming. As a 30somthing nerd with a bunch of stoner friends I think this will go over pretty well.

The "support" rerolls only trigger off of creatures made by other spellbooks. You don't get the reroll from being near the same monster.

Isn't buying dice that you pay equal to the number of dice in your pool to add one? So if you already have 2 dice, you need to pay 3 for the 3rd die, then 4 more for a 4th die? Also, I got this game to play with the kids (5 and 7) and they love it. They just want to smash the dudes lol.

In melee combat if the defender rolls more shields than the attackers hits does the attacker die then? Or do they both survive? The rulebook calls shields hits that's why im asking. Makes it seem like someone always dies during melee combat.

Ok so I’m 12 min in and rules that have been missed 1. In range attacking the if the defender wins the attacker doesn’t die. 2. It’s 2 gems to add a second die 3 for a 3rd etc. 3. Blue highlighted stats only work if 2 different molds are with in close not 2 insectomites or what ever has to be 2 different models. Just trying to help new players but loving the game play this game is so cool!

You also don’t roll initiative unless tied for model count who ever has less models goes first. Another thing i haven’t seen you guys do if you discard a die you can reroll all “program” dice.

You also get X gems back when you die based on how many dice you roll. So if you used 3 dice in defense and you die you get 3 gems. Starting to wonder if you guys are playing the super basic rules cuz missing a lot here.

Ok 17 min in you charge into combat with your mudmumps u lost in combat and should have be squashed close combat always ends in death. Ya so I’m not even saying this to be rude but probably need to re read the rules 🤦🏻‍♂️

Ok last one and I’m done you have to use all your activation dice on a book you can’t use move then go a turn and move or shoot. At 18 ish min you used insecto second move dice doesn’t work that way 🤦🏻‍♂️

A quick Google leads me to this answer.. Hope it helps. Artifact Cards and Shared Play Cards (42 cards total): Mini Euro (45mm x 68mm) Soul Cards and Reference Cards (11 cards total): Standard Euro (59mm x 92mm) Pretty standard board game card sleeve sizes. Shouldn't be hard to track down.

When you squish your opponent's monster, they get gems back equal to the dice they rolled in that combat. So if your opponent rolls 4 dice on defense, but loses the fight, they get 4 gems when you squish them.
