That 3rd game was amazing. Multiple people realizing there were 0 Werewolves and then multiple people passing the Werewolf card around was truly glorious

I'm literally hosting my first board game night tonight and we're playing One Night Ultimate Werewolf...I planned this a week ago...looks like I made the right choice! Spooky!

FYI you always want to keep the Tanner in the game imo, the Minion however is extremely weighted towards the Werewolves and with just 6 players is probably too powerful. This is a 6-player setup I like, in their wake order: Alpha Wolf, Werewolf, Apprentice Seer (because Seer OP!), Robber, Witch, Troublemaker, Drunk, Insomniac + Tanner who doesn't wake.

So here are some updated statistics for BGC 2023, manually summarized by me's truly: - After this video, Adam is now sitting at a 54.55% win-to-loss ratio, having won 6 games and lost 5. - Brooke is now the current champion, at 55.56% success, having won 5 games and lost 4. All hail the Lord of the Board, long may she reign! - Of those who have played more than one game so far, Laurie and Sullivan are tied for lowest scores at 36.36%, having each won 4 games and lost 7. Lucky for them, they're both on nearly every episode, so they have plenty of chances to catch up 😁 - Tom and Tilly each are the technical worst players so far, having each lost 1 game and played no others. Looks like "playing games" is a requirement for "winning games" after all 😉 - Dom's "I am the werewolf" has the same vibes as Isaac's "Laurie is my demon," and I am 100% here for it! - On first watch, I thought Witch Rosie had given Adam the Village Idiot card, and I was really hoping to hear her say something along the lines of, "No, Adam, you are an idiot." Sadly, I tracked the cards wrong, and that never came to pass. Perhaps one day. - Jon was not invited the one time the gang plays Werewolf? TRAVESTY! - I said these were statistics, so maybe I should end on an actual statistic. Um... *checks spreadsheet* Holly remains at exactly 50% with 1 loss and 1 win. But after the charity livestream (which are not included in the win/loss numbers, because 10 hours...), she has increased the amount of gavels eaten by 100%, from 1 up to 2; so that's progress!

How how HOW did I immediately predict Sullivan’s Shame while the artifact was being described??? 😂

I love this game because you never know which team your on and have no idea what your winning situation is, so not only do you have to figure out everyone else you have to figure out yourself 😂

My friends and I do game nights at our local pub every month or so, and the last couple times we always played Werewolf. The people's reactions were already funny, but eventually the staff actually started playing along, too! They'd only come by our table during the discussion and nominate one player to be executed. Great fun! We're gonna be back there next week and I'm gonna introduce some NRB wisdom to them

Honestly I’m not the biggest fan of wrestling, but since his whatculture days I’ve been a huge fan of Adam. His fantasy booking videos were always enough to keep me interested in wrestling and I fell out of love with it when he left. Then I saw his first video with wrestle talk and I came flooding back. Now it’s about 2/3 years on, I’ve never cared about board games and now I have a new favourite channel, I’ve binged 29 blood on the clock tower episodes, house rules has had me in stitches more times than I can count. Board game club is always a fun way to spend an hour. And there are like 10 other personalities I’ve fallen in love with now. Incredible channel, incredible people, great fun!

I'm confused why the alpha wolf would ever want to add another wolf as that just gives the wolf team more ways to lose, and the extra wolf won't help since they won't know they're a wolf without outing yourself.

Really been hoping you'd play this one (or the vampire/alien versions, they're all fun)! It felt way too short - I hope we see it again. I would have loved to see the Tanner stay in play, it's always so much fun with the additional paranoia of "are they being shady on purpose??"

Where the hell is Jon? Playing this game without him is borderline a war crime.

Enjoyed this almost as much as Hot Bucket Cold Bucket. Almost. Would love to see these folks have a go at playing Rob Daviau's game, Mountains of Madness. It's got the sort of entertaining blend of silliness that works well for bantering players.

Swapping those cards and not putting them back in the original position is a dead giveaway. Adam wasn't moving his card so he knew it had been swapped/looked at in the first two games (at least).
