It is very interesting how they have mixed modern graphics with the pixelated artstyle.

It might just be the enemies, but this game feels like a chill version of Doom, I like it and the ambiance is great too! Thanks for playing it MC.

Hello MetalCanyon, I think you were the first LP-er I subscribed to on RU-vid back when I watched you play Papers Please. I remember watching your OpenXCOM playthrough and bought Death Skid Marks after seeing you play. Your original System Shock playthrough was probably one of the last series I've seen all the way through before graduating and losing all this free time to spend watching RU-vid. Seeing episodes pop up of you playing System Shock Remake made me excited and brought back all those memories I mentioned above. I'm looking forward to binge watching a few episodes like the good old days and wanted to give you a long overdue thank you for making my stressful university life a bit more bearable back then.

Never got to play SS1 back in the day. I am absolutely loving this game!! Plus I heard they are going to be remaking System Shock 2, which is one of the best games ever made and a personal top 3 game for me.

If it works like the original SS1, then security level dropping below certain, well, level will enable more doors and such (they are "Blocked by Shodan Security" when you try to access them at too high security).

Your let's plays of the system shock games are awesome (I recently watched both this and the SS2 one)- you're lore-savvy without it feeling like you're breezing through, you take your time to explain things...I love that you give these games the attention and respect they earned.

I thinji remember your playthrough of SS2. Ive been watchinf you for years, so to see it come full round to the first system shock which you bever played and a Remake at that, im super excited for this.

I'm sure you figured this out already, but it's 10 Scrap to 1 Credit, so Recycling the Junk itself is often way more efficient, but not worth carrying it around at first. Often it's best to wait to pick up everything until you've secured a section, then just scrape for every piece you can get. But I'm excited to see how you go through this game regardless of how you play.

Respect for the 110 Fov and recording @ 1440p. I use 100Fov but I hate games that set 80Fov at least this games default is 90Fov.

Finally finally finally finally. I've been waiting for this for, um, days? Anyway.

This game is hard, like original Doom Hard. I got a few hours in and now I remember what it is like to wander around and around the same Large area with no sense of how to progress. I go around and around and around I think maybe I made it all the way thru a cyberspace section and somehow didn't destroy the crystal to unlock the door... But im not sure because I cant find that door... Maybe I did unlock it and... Not.. Much sense of what to

Damn the game randomizes the puzzles I guess my first puzzle for that lift is different my nodes on the whole board don't have any markings to indicate power direction like yours have and I'm literally completely stumped on it

I have a problem: Should I watch you to play and probably see some spoilers, or play myself first and postpone watching indefinitely? Then again, I remember the original quite well - so vividly in fact that the original music plays constantly in my ears, so is there anything to spoil =D

Can't say I'm a fan of the puzzles in this. Thankfully,at least a few are optional,but there is at least one occasion where you'll have to endure 3 in a row.

Hmm, did you disable the music outside of combat, or is this version mostly without music, just atmospheric noise?
