If you think of the two people as points on a graph and you draw a single line which passes through both points, that's your "180 degree line". You can cut to any shot of the conversation from anywhere on one side of the line. But if you cut to a camera angle that is across the line, then the perspective changes to where now Person B will be on the left and Person A will be on the right. As a viewer this is very jarring and it takes you a moment to realize what has happened. In movies this rule can be broken if you want to intentionally disorient the audience for artistic purposes or show a change in direction like in the movie Snowpiercer. But if you let's say, film two people playing pong and show only mostly the screen, then you want to keep whoever's on the left or right consistent between cuts. If you want to get an angle from the other side of the line without confusing the crowd then you have to physically cross the line while filming so the audience can see the change from left to right. Sorry for the novel I just wrote; I just got a little into what I was writing.

Like when people play video games some just have this thing where its like they are really in the game and just have stiff necks and tunnel vision while others its like they are playing a game and sitting in the room. I guess its the same for me when I watch videos. Like I can jump from place to place and know exactly where I am.

The fire might heat the metal, but not all metals get hot at the same rate (that’s how you can have metal containers that contain molten metals in places like ironworks). And the whipping...well, there’s no real change there.

+Benjamin Tetreault It's hard enough. The heat basically just increases the effect of the shocks and whipping. Shocks go all the way up you arm, freezing you completely on the strongest levels. Whipping usually results in bleeding hands during tournaments.

I don't think that logic really holds up. Most of the time when stuff goes wrong my right hand is actually the one that winds up taking the brunt of the damage because I'm more focused on not letting my left hand get hurt. Besides, a higher pain tolerance can only help so much when you're failing at the game twice as much.
