Happy Friday guys, it is another scorcher here today, so haven't been recording, but I have been busy setting up my new PC! Looking forward to playing lots of new and old games, maybe I'll record some for the channel! The new PC now means I can record in h.265 and in higher resolution, I will also be able to render episodes in 4K meaning no more dreaded avc1 video quality (especially on-screen text!), so expect forthcoming videos to be in higher quality (hopefully!). I had to pause comments on my recent short videos about my new PC because I was getting so many notifications and one person was quite abusive, I invite constructive criticism or advice, but don't allow abusive language on here. I am very happy with what I've bought and if it does break I am fully covered for repairs. I understand some of you are AMD fanboys (I was one myself), but I wanted to go for an Intel & Nvidia PC this time. Also I got a comment saying I was a rich guy 'flexing' with my video about the CPU cooler screen, I have only ever had cheap and slow PCs most of my life, (my first PC was a Dell 325p - 386 DX 25, 4MB RAM, 80MB HDD, Windows 3.1) often being made fun of for being poor and having a crap system, the one time I save for a half-decent PC then I'm suddenly a rich guy who was flexing, you can't win some times! the video was made purely in amazement at the technology, I have been out of the loop in terms of PC hardware for many years now, I used to know everything about building PCs back in the 90s and early 2000s. Anyway, I am off now to play some games and slowly dissolve in this heat - enjoy the rest of your Friday and weekend guys!
