My favorite MC duo. Supportive younger sister and cool older brother. I love their siblings interactions. Plus, she called Wise "onii-chan" and that is a win.

usually the "skin" on the characters when using their signature are their hair changing color / lighting up when using their skills its more noticeable on certain characters. I think for Ben, the scar on his face glows when doing a chain attack (look at his face when he does his chain attack at 2:30:39 )

Okay, so I tested a few things with my friends. It seems to be the case that you NEED the Signature weapon of a character to be able to flip that switch and get the extra effects, BUT if you then equip another weapon you can still flip that switch (so basically transmog). Billys best weapon is (of course) an S-Rank, but because you have his signature weapon you can use the S-Rank and still get the effects that were unlocked through the A-Rank Engine. The special effects themselves are very hard to notice on some characters, Anby for example gets extra lightning around her sword on one of her later basic attacks, Billy gets the Sparkles (afaik) and other characters (like Nicole) have glowing hair during the EX Attack.

Instead of a special animation for S rank, it's the song. You only get the lyrics when you pull an S rank.

There is a slight difference in animation. In the A rank animation it shows Master Tapes on the TVs at the beginning, in the S rank one it shows you S A and B on them

the reel flickers gold and the S rank on the TV flashes. the reel flickering is subtle but you get used to looking for it like HSR

When I was watching videos of others doing the beta, I didn’t think this was gonna be my type of game, especially the combat, but after playing it for the last few days, I absolutely fell in love with it. The combat is so much fun and the characters are so vibrant and has such personality that I can’t help but adore. It immediately hooked me in and I was all for it. I can’t wait to keep playing it and building my team!

aaa thank you for choosing wise. I choose him as soon as I saw him. but most people hate his design just because his color schemes not vibrant enough. but I think his calm and gentle personality is potrayed well that way. ohh btw new subscriber here. and been binge watching all your genshin and star rail videos. thank you for genuine reactions.

11:10 portal logic, fall into a portal that shoots you out horizontally and the momentum carries over. 1:35:25 body parts do a glowy during use of skills and some look pretty cool.

@@axelarkamg196yeah unfortunately.I love this game and style.It does make me sad thinking about how much work the team gave in for this kinda theme that’s way different form everything just to be hated by everyone.If I worked this hard just go get hated.I would probably end myself or go offline for awhile.It’s heartbreaking

btw if you team it up with same factions OR same element it gives you the part buff so yeah you might wanna play grace for a while and team it up with ben and anton even if its different element cuz the element wont removed if you change it.example: if you use fire and already stack it to half and change it to ice and stack half again and change again to electric the half stack will still there so dont worry about the element if you dont have the correspond buff element

I absolutely love this game. I actually laughed out loud multiple times during the first few hours which is pretty rare for me, but the Cunning Hares are my new favorite group of lovable idiots - like the Arataki gang with only Ittos in a way. All VAs definitely bring the energy! Of course, there's little things here and there that could be improved, but I think their release was really strong and I think it will only get better, so I will definitely keep playing this game. As of right now I did 65 standard pulls and 10 event pulls and I got: - Von Lycaon - Lucy C2 - Nicole C1 and Corin C1 - Ben and Anton C0 This means I'm only missing Soukaku (which I can get through playing) and Piper as A-Ranks and that's pretty good! I really want Ellen now, so I will throw everything I get through playing at her and hope for the best. I think I will go with Corin, Lycaon and a flex slot for now. If I get Ellen, I would probably play Ellen, Lycaon and Soukaku. My two IRL friends that also play Hoyo games got Nekomata and Soldier 11 which is pretty cool because now we can share our different experiences going forward... and I also have to admit that I really dig the playstyle of all the standard S-Ranks, so I also really want all of them in the long term which means I only need to dodge dupes in the short-term. That said, have fun, everyone!

You guys are the first people who seem to adore the game in its entirety. Reading the dialouge wether it’s voiced or not, gawking at the little animations, actually reading the tutorial so you don’t get annoyed half way through cus you didn’t know what to do… I didn’t realize it would be so hard to find people who is actually interested in this game’s story considering the other hoyo games didn’t have a problem with popular let’s players skipping every dialogue, but here we are. If anyone knows other people who actually cares about the story in this game please send it to me cus I’m sick and tired of seeing them just rush through everything. If I wanted to ONLY see combat I’d play it myself. And I have. I’m here to see other people react to the story.

Fun thing with Ben; he's very much a heavy swinging character. If you hold his special button while not charged, you'll block attacks with the pillar and gain a shield, you can then release the button to parry and (if you then have enough energy, which it's at a discounted amount while in this state so it happens often) you'll either rocket charge forward into the enemies or swing you claws at them, both of which can combo into either a dash attack or the normal combo. His character has the most ridiculous amount of tech for an A-rank Defense boosted character. He also has a hidden passive that buffs specifically Koleda making her combo attacks with him do 10% extra fire damage and build burn anomaly even if she doesn't use the energy and just deals physical.

I was hoping you'd pick Wise, yes!! Watching this playthrough makes me like the siblings even more ❤ Yeah, so rn beside those two, I still don't have anyone else I like in particular. And I guess fav npcs are the cats XD I got Alexandrina (maid with puppets) on the guaranteed standard. I prefer ranged chars so it was a very good pull. Mainly using her, Billy, and Nicole for now. Will keep pulling for Ellen. Everything has been impressive. The only complaint is..why does it take so long to unlock the daily and stuff 😂

Really fun watch, I do hope you went back and read there skills as many heroes have a lot of unique touches in their kits that the tutorials don't mention at all. Soldier 11, you kind of accidentally skipped past the second tutorial message thinking it was the first again, but her skill in special mode makes her next 8 basics attacks deal flame regardless of timing. The saw made does have charge, or better described as hold attacks in her kit. Her special skill can be held as well as the 3rd and last hits of her basic combo to increase the hits dealt during those hits. Neko the cat girl also has holld attacks and a few rng aspects. Even Anby has a hold effect on the last hit of her basic as some examples. Edit- Bens skill is also a counter that deals more damage if timed perfectly as another exampl. Each element has a status effect i can trigger and some have 2 , mixing 2 status effects of different types triggers a 3rd called disorder. Anomaly characters specialize in inflicting them. Last early tip is that characters core skills get a new effect if they are on a team with a fellow faction member or with a member that shares their elements. So you can use characters on elemental or faction based teams. Quick edit- the weapons have a little bit info icon at the bottom left corner. Clicking it will make it really clear who its meant for as it has character signature lore if it is a signature.

Commenting to answer your offshoot question/comment of wondering whether the different siblings get different rooms, they do! I had been wondering that myself having picked Belle and sure enough the closed door with the sign on it in your game is open in mine, being Belle’s room. They’re also set up completely differently, with Belle’s having records, skateboards, and movie posters all around. Also her room is overall a lot messier as opposed to Wise’s neatness.

Going for the male MC was honestly such a solid choice. Belle feels more like a support and secondary protagonist imo. Her upbeat but aggressive personality is so complimentary to how jaded and serious yet contradictively soft Wise is.

(now I did see an interview of the creators of the entire Hoyoverse games, and they said that each game is in a different world/planet not a different dimension. It was pretty much a mistranslation from Chinese to English. The sea of quanta is a Multiverse of dead worlds from the previous earth time loops, and other dead worlds which are planets that were destroyed by the Honkai(earth, Venus, mars, and other populated planets) Honkai 3rd &Honkai Star Rail and other Hoyoverse worlds are in the same universe on different planets, pretty much 50,000 years ago and 200,000 years ago before the time loops, humanity was nearly wiped out and in each loop every 50,000 years, surviving humans would’ve sent out Arks to different planets(Teyvat, ZZZ, Honkai Star Rail) My theory is that most of the planets , and also the humans are descendants of clones from 200,000 years ago and 50,000 years ago back on earth. My other theory is that most of the humanoid aliens , are descendants of the clone humans and animals that existed 200,000 years ago that’s why there are Furrys/hybrid, and humanoid aliens and humans who are descendants of clones. ZZZ have talking animals, who evolved overtime because of genetic manipulation of their ancestors, and why there are hybrid is mainly because some humans get frisky with the Furrys (well that someone fu🤬🤬🤬cat girl, a shark girl, a mouse girl, and other sexy Furrys😅😅😅😅😅🥰🥰🥰

I like the dynamic where belle is the supportive little sister. she plays the role too well and wise is great as the calm leader who doesn't talk as much

The joint ults or joint atacks are already implemented in Honkai Impact its only that just a few do that, like the twins if you have both in the team and atack with Roza the animation and atack changes to a combo between the 2, if you have the 2 the ult for Roza changes to both of them, in the main trio, Kiana ult changes to an joint ult, Mei and bronya ult changes to a triger for swap to Kiana ignoring if the cooldown for the swap is still there
