The sad thing about the janitor losing his arm or dying from blood lost, he wasn't actually bad. He gets the children and bring them back on their place or cage. He is a janitor who's just doing his job in the maw after all. Unlike the chef, who's their purpose is to kill and cook.

@ZarkZyrian Jesus Christ dude, relax. I feel the exact same way you do about Six doing everything in self defense, I’ve genuinely been preaching that since day 1. And I’m just saying that yes, he is responsible for assisting in keeping the children captive, but he is also the one keeping them alive(even if it’s for a short amount of time). Compared to the other enemies on the ship, he has the best intentions, no matter how shitty they may be. Now I kindly ask you to calm the fuck down, and allow us to think from the villain’s point of view. Nobody’s saying that kidnapping the children isn’t illegal, so stop acting like we were.

@ZarkZyrian what the fuck? He’s not kidnapping the kids, he’s simply taking them back to their room in response to them (probably) being captured by another monster within the Maw. That’s how he makes money, by wrapping the kids in hope that they escape

i felt SO BAD for the janitor after i chopped his arms off in the game, because i did it in a way that is LITERALLY MY WORST CHILDHOOD FEAR!! the idea of my limbs being amputated, by closing a door on them, or getting my fingers stuck in the car window while it's rolling up, absolutely terrified me as a kid and it still does!! and i feel even MORE bad for him because you can hear him SCREAMING IN PAIN on the other side of the door!!

Okay, so genuine question- We hear the Janitor yelling no, right? Like, he’s fully aware that he’s about to lose his arms if we pull one more piece out. If we ignore all of the game logic and think of this as some messed up real life scenario, why on earth wouldn’t he just pull his arms back out?

Because if you know what happens in little nightmares 2 I can think of two things. One, if he stops he’ll just get killed by the lady or two, he’s only partially infected by the tv so he’s forced to follow his job or what he is sent out to do and can’t stop it. So the janitor may not want to do it but his body is forcing him to because I don’t think he says no because he’s angry I think he either doesn’t want to catch six or he doesn’t want to follow through and lose his arms.

@ZarkZyrian He doesn’t kidnap the kids, that’s the Ferryman and the North Wind. I’m pretty sure he is unaware that he is sending kids off to be eaten, since he is blind. Most likely all he knows is that he has a job and that he must do it.
