Man i wanted thor to live. Imagine thor and kratos both redeem them self of thier past tpgether helping building the nine realms. Man that would break the net
Thor killed too many innocents lore wise. did it without having anyone to avenge, outside of wartime, outside of mid-battle ares-induced-bloodlust and outside of any path of “revenge” against gods.
@@alalmalal killed kratos kills so many innocent people lore wise anyone one that get I kratos way literally dies even people so how can kratos be redeem and not thor🤣
His rage against Kratos blinded him when he fought Kratos for his two boys getting killed. The real reason why they died is that Odin sent his two boys to eliminate Kratos for an unknown reason, and now Odin sends Thor to Kratos basically for revenge. Thor entirely went for the wrong man here, but when he finally realizes the biggest mistake of his life, he doesn’t comply with Odin’s orders when he knows Sif was right. I wish Thor didn’t have to end like that, especially when Thor was just about to trust Kratos and saw who was the real enemy was In Ragnarok.
not sure why but i felt like crying after Odin kills Thor cause that actually happens to us humans in reality too when someone forces us to do something and don't do and it always turn bad
Thor is such a sad character. It doesn’t exactly excuse him killing so many innocent lives, but the blame is definitely the most on Odin. He’s such a manipulative and abusive prick.
Yo but deadass why is no one talking about how Thor fucking disintegrated after that fucking stab? What's the story with Odin's spear? Every other gods body remains after death. Why the hell was this death so particularly brutal?
Odin’s Spear is called Gungnir, and although it doesn’t have much texts describing it’s powers, it is said that the spear will always find its target and will pierce *anything* .It is also apparently one of the strongest weapons in Asgard, other than mjolnir.
The gungir is imbued with the bifrost, and odins magic, stronger then mjolnir, and per text it always hits its targets, and by always i mean the heart, thats why he got insta killed
Dude I wish they didn't kill Thor this way. Sure, maybe let Odin still kill Thor but have let Thor betray Odin, have one stage teaming with Thor and then he dies.
Would’ve loved to see Thor and Kratos Team up at the end, dang. In Norse mythology Thor does die at Ragnarok, but from poison from Jormungandr After he smacks The world serpent back in time. I feel sorry for Thrud though. Would be fun in Atreus’s next story if Thrud and Angribod have a love triangle with Loki. 😈.
I don't understand how Thor was one shot by Odin's spear and Kratos doesn't get one shot by it, and very much survives the impale during the Odin boss battle.
@@nathanhayes8593 And the fight with most likely did bring thor close to death or at least a weakened state, odin knowing this knew the uselessness of his own son personally eliminated the weakened god. Sif said it herself, he would sacrifice anyone who get in the way of his plans, his people, his army, or even his own family. Thor right there was just in the way, and when thrud didnt side with him, she was just an obstacle in the way.
Odin's spear Gungnir is like the second mightiest weapon in norse mythology, a close second behind Mjöllnir. And he stabbed Thor through the heart to boot.
But is he as bad as Final Fantasy Peasant where he thinks all his theories are facts? 😂 What's worse is that some (or most) of his theories are just "borrowed" from other theories and he just combined together due to him thinking they fit well to be factual. 🤣
The fact that Thor realized his mistakes and teamed up with Kratos only to die by his own Father’s hands seconds later in front of his own Daughter is seriously one of the saddest moments in the entire God of War Franchise. R.I.P. team Kratos & Thor. Odin got what he deserved. 😭💔😡
Death super anticlimactic and not worthy of Thor. I'd prefer him to live but if he has to die, at least make it epic. Making Odin unbeatable unless kratos and him team up, and in the process of that he may die. But this? Cheap. Just reflects how much weaker it was than the first gow in Norse mythology, overall.
