Hello friends! In a couple of days the Tour de Fleece is starting and I plan to participate. I had too much choices of fleeces this year, but I in the end opted to spin a massive Zwartbles fleece. Zwartbles is a Dutch native sheep breed, which used to be endangered but is now a popular sheep because of its personable personality. The wool is some pure dark chocolate luxury. I shall be processing this fleece to be ready for spinning into yarn on July first! In this video you will see some skirting, scouring and combing of the fleece, but I want to stress again that this is not a tutorial, just me enjoying and relaxing with fiber arts and crafts!
