I started in 2009 (PROPERLY) and loved Soraya's song! The live wasn't as good as the studio but I didn't think it was bottom 5 worthy

I appreciate the quality of the song from Germany, but it is NOT ESC material in any way.. The juries will murder it for that long rap part >.> I do hope the young man can use it is a good career promoter though!

I can't say best ever without doing the proper research, but in recent memory, it is definitely one of the most polished performances I've seen at Eurovision. She oozes charisma and confidence, and delivers. Definitely a threat this year! 😁

Am I right in saying Spain haven't sent an entry like this since 2009? I remember Soraya fondly as it was my first time watching ESC fully. I thought she gave a wicked performance, staging over vocals but still great and definitely not bottom 5 deserving. I know 2016 was, up tempo, but not quite the same level! Chanel definitely brings the fire this year 🔥

@@JarydReacts Yes, I do think you are right that Spain has not sent an entry like this years entry since 2009. But it was a more Greek inspirited tune to that one than Latino/Spanish pop vibes although it did not sound bad at all. And she did give a wicked performance which almost makes up for that the vocal performance was not the best I heard that year. They seemed to have put much more into staging than into making the vocalization sound good and on point live. Still they put on a great show and they could have a least gotten a better placing on the final results than what they did. The 2016 entry was up tempo although not quite the same level, and gave at least me very Europop/disco vibes, it was a cool song, and the artist had a far better vocalization than the one in 2009 did. And I quite enjoyed the light show they had on stage for the 2016 entry. The performance was not to shabby either really. It felt like an evening at the night club where all you wanna do is dance. 😁 Then comes the 2022 entry and it feels like Spain has evolved into an international level as far as Latino beats and Latino inspirited pop and R&B goes, and they put an awesome show. The dancing act is pretty wicked, but I am absolutely here for it, and it will more than likely pull the masses to the dance floor everywhere. Although the vocalization of the artist is pretty good , mostly on point and fits well with the song, I think she needs somewhat more practice when it comes to the right breathing techniques when singing high energy demanding songs whilst dancing, which actually is not an easy task. 🤓

If it restores the public's faith and support, that's a bigger win than a trophy 😁

Long as she slays that dance break, no one will mind a few bum notes 😁

Doesn't her voice sound perfect to you in this live show even dancing from the first second to the last? 🤷
