😂 I m so glad to see that Norsk people can also resonate with this. Even in covid you can't help dancing! Bless you! Armenia will do extremely well this year. Jako is perfectly contagious! I mean, who can resist this storm of positivity? It's already sure that all the Eastern (and probably Southern as well) countries will suck this up in awe, so if even the North can not resist, this is definitely banging. Armenia could be even looking at their best result ever!! At least with the televote.

This song is full of symbolism if you look closer: the visuals are inspired by great Armenian artist and cinematographer Paradjanov who, in his turn, was inspired by medival Armenian ashiq Sayat Nova who also did cultural mixes in his music, combining Armenian- Georgian-Persian-Albanian(caucasian Albania) music.

Let me tell you what the song is about. Jako is the short name of hers Jaquelin. She says they call me Jako! stay calm don't talk too much or don't sit quiet also. Be like a girl. I'm a free girl and I'll dance you dance with me... The message is to be free and feel free no matter what the others will say just be yourself and embrace your crazy mind what feels right at that moment.

I get your concern, and for some it might be too much, but for us, and for many Eurovision fans I think it's missed dearly and more than welcome back. In the early 2000's there were too much and we got tired of it, but now it reminds a lot of people of how they fall in love with Eurovision in the first place (as the arena to explore different cultures music and the magic it brings), so I think this is a trend that we will not be bored of in a while. For my taste we have just the right amount of them in the competition now, and we don't need more necissarily :') What do you think about the matter? But it's a great question! @@LifeisGood_111

@@esc.norway I think ESC itself it's a good reason for us to listen to ethnic songs. But since these ethnic songs are sometimes just music and dance rhythms, the lyrics usually take a back seat, so I want more songs to be made about lyrics and meaning, and they should be embellished with music, lyrics, I'm not against ethnic songs, but everything should be done in moderation

I think Europe is a continent of many different very old and cultured countries and Eurovision should be a tool to showcase and grow culture in Europe. I think it would be very nice to have Eurovision feature a lot of cultural dance and music. Culture is what makes us human. It's what makes us who we are. It's what defines us as a species. Nobody can beat you at being you. So, we must bring our own culture to the stage and let our true selves shine through.
