Asking questions as you read helps your child connect the words and pictures to what's happening in the story.
Ask your child questions as you read, like our storytellers in the videos below. Encourage your child to describe what's going on in the pictures. Let your child take the lead. Rereading books together helps your child learn and remember new words.
