Honestly I could imagine it working as a tense scene in an anime if directed well enough, but here it's just too funny. I was expecting some comments about that final scene, but I guess it was a lot to take in. Imagine playing this before Arcueid's route, having the SHIKI twists alongside everything else.

Even if Ciel's route is his second playthrough he experienced one of the craziest list of reveals so understandably he's a bit overwhelmed. Going in, I had only vague memories of people mentioning something about a chair in relation to Nasu. My first guess at seeing the chair thumbnail was Xenogears, because apparently a sizable chunk of the game is the cast sitting around and talking about what happens in the story instead of letting you play it because the budget ran out. My second guess was the cousin joke of Sephiroth giving you dis pear. I was not ready for Shiki absolutely demolishing a chair with hilarious copy-pasted text. Hell yeah, my theory of Roa's imperfect reincarnation and connection to the two Shikis was right on the money. I'm not entirely sold on the mental connection where Shiki can apparently be affected by the Tohno's bloodline's cannibalistic urges, and the part where it's difficult for both Shikis to move at once because they actively share life force seems a little iffy to me, but whatever. Also, Ciel has absolutely no way to carry so many swords that big, so maybe it's just the artist taking some liberty with the smaller Black Keys' design. 15:38 I guess Shiki is part of the KKK now. Time to cancel him again. (The first time was for murder)
