This week for Let's Roll we're playing Wavelength! Michael, Lindsay, and Alfredo are up against Jack, BK, and Joe in trying to successfully predict what their teammates are thinking to score the most points. Will they be able to guess on the scale where their teammate thinks ""baked potato chips"" are healthy or unhealthy AND where ""World War 3"" is historically important or unimportant?

@@mcrangergr33n8 I believe one of the very first Let's Rolls Joe was in he openly looked at other peoples cards during a game where the whole point was to figure out what their cards were, and the only excuse he could give was "I didn't know I could look at the cards if I looked at them."

The best part of the Joe Round was watching Lindsay desperately trying not to be on Joe's side, but steadily nodding her head at some points to be like, "Yeah, no... I totally get where you are coming from." The chaos that has been introduced into this group is outstanding. I love it.

I think that would lean too much into unimportant due to its forgotten war status. I think realistically the Vienam war would probably be a better pick since its slightly important but not very important. Like it was just a war of the west trying to contain communism with disastrous effect. Its relevant to modern history but I don't think much would have changed if it never came to pass.

Agreed. Jack's thought that a world war is THE MOST historically important is WILD. The invention of the wheel? The genesis of life on earth? The universe coming into existence? The are SO many more important events.

If we assume alien existence, then they could be recording a history completely unrelated to us. Also, if we simply die out, then earth *could* see the emergence of a new sentient species to record history. Besides, I'd define that historically as "the end of humanity", rather than WW3. It's the more significant fact.

As for aliens in another galaxy or whatever, guess what, nothing we have ever done, or ever will do, counts as historically important to them. As for arguing that a war ending all life on earth isn't technically the most important thing, because only the 'all life ending' part is the only thing that's really important, that's just semantics. That's like arguing "well, I didn't kill the guy, it was the piece of metal that was propelled from the gun when I pulled the trigger that killed the guy."

Is the prompt that hard, though? On the left you have “a wind chime”, and on the right you have “a world war”. I’d have put “the World Series” for that range, I think. Popular and followed event, affecting many people, but not that many lives, and somewhat pertinent even years after due to fans tracking the stats of games; but will it be in a history book? No.
