I think it looks pretty. To “fix’ it, start rolling from the bottom to the top, and use smaller sections. Curl your hair in a pattern. Go down the center and then do the sides. That will help.

You need your hair to be more damp. For the curlers start at the bottom of your locs, then wrap your hair around the the ends to keep them in place. Then fold part the bottom part of the roller. Roll it until you get close to your scalp, then fold the other side down to keep the top part in place.

Hi Tykara! What works for my locs is I wrap the end and roll up a tiny bit until it’s secure and for the rest I wrap the hair around the rod as I twist the rod around my hair. I know it sounds confusing lol. So I wrap my hair around the rod in a twisting motion similar to how you would twist your hair around a curling wand. The only thing is that it’s extra uncomfortable to sleep on because the rods are pretty much straight up and down with a little bend on each end to secure it. I hope this helps ❤️

Practice makes perfect! It took me some time to figure out how to get the curls I wanted with flexi rods on my loose hair. Love your videos, I'm thinking of loccing my hair this size and your content is super helpful!

Starting on damp hair before applying mouse would help your ends wrap better around the flexi rods.

Yes I prefer micro Locs straight

Use slightly less hair with the flexi rod. Take a chunk of hair and twist it around the rod from the top. Pretend you're doing a two strand twist with the rod and the chunk of hair. Then secure the hair by bending the flexi rod at both ends. Also I liked the perm rods too. You should try doing that again to your entire head but do not separate the curls. You might want to use slightly less hair with the perm rods as well. Hope this helps. I love your hair by the way 😍

I take just water and oil and I twist it like a regular rod. I wouldn’t braid it first. I also use 3/4 in the back and the skinnier ones in the font.

I had the same result with mine lol I tend to find that cornrows give me the best result for my hair

Start at the ends of your hair and then wrap on the flexirods. Then bend the flexirods to close them

I have flexi rods, i haven't tried them yet, looks like the perm rod created better curls

Yasss girl Fenty been there for years, i got the foundation and concealer, its not worth the money for me, the foundation transfers a lot😭😭(Disregard what i said about Fenty being in Ulta for years, I bought mine in Sephora)

Grill you are too hard on yourself, I loved it, fail or not it still looks cute,plus your hair is nice & full ❤️❤️ . However when I do the flexi rod set I start from the top or root of my hair . I wrap the flexi Rod around my hair starting from the top. When I get to the end of my hair I place the flexi rod sort of in a circle around my hair.

It's going to take you a few times to figure out those flexi rods. Those flexi rods are a trip to figure out how to keep your hair on them. I think if you used water, your hair would have set better...without the twists. Until then, I think the perm rods give you better curl.

Do not twist them first. Start by rolling the ends into the rest of the hair so that they stay (don't do the ends last). When you secure them, bend the ends of the rods into each other. This probably makes no sense. Lol

Don't braid your locs and make sure you dampen them more, not soaked

That style will probably be cute just pull the front up to little top pony 😄

Try smaller sections

You shouldn't be putting mousse in your locs at all that's a big no no. Even the oil is unnecessary, all you need is a lot of water. Putting the oil is gonna mess it up.
