And I’ve purchased more lipsticks during COVID mask-wearing time than before 🌚 But this mask/wearing times make me appreciate the time where I able to put on lipstick more 😭
You're not wasting them with using them around the house! Not using them and letting them go bad is a waste cause they gonna go bad quicker than any other product so just enjoy! And from my panning experience, finishing lipsticks ans lipglosses takes a long time
I think by NOT wearing your lip products that’s the real waste since by the time things go back to “normal” the lip products will get older and using up products makes sure you get your money’s worth !! i know i still like to wear my Fenty gloss around the house bc of how pretty it makes me feel :P
it took me a while to be okay w wearing my lip products around the house, but I missed them, and at about month 5 i realized they were basically rotting in a drawer with zero uses. ultimately, i bought them because i wanted to wear them, not necessarily because I wanted to wear them in public (it was about the color and texture and not necessarily the utility), so it made sense for me to wear them often, even if nobody else sees:)

I still wear lip products every day! If it makes you feel good and happy why would you stop? 🥰 Plus a lot of places once you sit you don’t have to wear a mask like restaurants etc! 😊 People used to ask me all the time why I put makeup on everyday, and I used to feel like I had to explain myself like “Well it helps me start the day”, “it’s just a habit”, etc but now I say “Because I love it and it makes me happy! Why DONT you wear makeup everyday?” ☺️ That usually shuts them up! 😂♥️

I'm a lip product junkie and I wear lipstick if I'm going to be home just to boost my confidence and have fun with makeup, regardless of not seeing anyone. When I go out and wear a mask, I always put on some form of lip product, usually a lip balm or something lightly tinted. I figure I might as well take care of my lips with all this time away from others even if no one sees my mouth.
Have seen some lip products I’ve been wanting to try, but I’ve talked myself out of buying them cause wearing a mask almost all the time and stuff. I’m a lip product addict. 😗😍 Loved the video! 💕💕
What I do with lip products I that don’t use is use them as a cream blush. Mainly cream and liquid lipsticks and matte lip tints. I enjoy doing that more than wearing them, especially now, and I get through them more quickly
It might feel like a waste but if you enjoy wearing it it’s worth it. I think it’s more of a waste if the product ends up expiring. I’m sad about all the lip products or makeup in general that I have not used. 😩

If you wear a glossy lipstick, it would leave stain in your mask right? I hate that sometimes because matte lipstick doesn't fit with my lips plus I have dry skin :(

I’ve been putting on lipstick every day (but I only leave the house to walk in the forest where my country does not require masks, only public places indoors). I know no one will see me so in a way it may be a waste to put makeup on, but also foundation, cream products and lip products will go bad quicker anyway so am i wasting them more having them shut in a drawer or using them? That’s my philosophy anyway lol
I’ve always wanted to try em cosmetics but to ship one lip gloss to the UK it costs $60 and they won’t refund you for anything damaged in transit. Lovely. 🙄
