"Let's Take A Lap!" With Finn Bilous

Freeride World Tour, and Olympic Slope competitor Finn Bilous rolled in to Alta on a bluebird pow day, for his first day of skiing for the season! It was a blast taking a few runs with him, and love the stoke and vibe! Of course there are a few cameos from Andrew Pollard in there too!

You can ski other mountains in the area and leave feeling like you might be a decent skier. Then hit alta and snowbird and leave feeling like an absolute peon of a skier. Lol

Sooo much fun obvs, but the Meat Density makes me nervous af can't lie. Euro places I ride (just ride, not loony like y'all) I'm lucky to see another soul on the entire descent. Suits me, I'm old and slow. Carry on making mince.. 😁

Hey Sage! I'm looking to pickup the backland 117 2020 in 193 or a bent 110 in 188 and wanted to hear your recommendation. I live in SLC, with an Alta pass, I havent had a chance to ride the backland so thats why I'm asking. I really liked how well the bents jumped and just the insane fun factory they had, but am hesitant as I rarely ride switch. How does the 2020 backland stack up? If I go backland, where do you recommend I mount them? (2020 as a local shop has a brand new left over pair for dirt cheap)

I love the bents for sure, as you said they really have a playfull nature . but the backland is a bit more stable when charging fast through fresh or skied up snow. Its what Im on in all these videos, is still pretty poppy and lively, just a bit more a directional charger. Its a pretty sick Alta ski, the most current, and last season versions are the best, I ski both the 184, and more primarily the 191 version.

Hi Sage - are you usually on 191’s for bigger mountain stuff and the 184’s at Alta for stuff like this video, or are these the 191’s too? 180-184 has been seeming a little short to me lately but not sure if I’m over thinking it at 5’10 170 And you rock dude!! These videos are the best

if you do go backland mount them +3 in front of rec, on the 110 go 1 cm behind rec
