It was stellar to watch RT play this live. This game’s writing is just so fun and charming, just like the gameplay. Highly recommend this game, especially for such a low price.

Wow. Okay. I was not expecting that phone call at the end to hit me as hard as it did. I lost my mother to Covid back at the start of this crisis. I didn't even know she was sick, because she was doing exactly what the character here was. I was doing exams for my Masters, and she didn't want me to worry. So she didn't tell me. She didn't call when I missed a week without checking in. She knew I was busy, and didn't want to intrude. That weekend, after my exams were done, I didn't call her because I was too burned out and just needed some time. I didn't know. By the time I called her that Monday, it was already too late, and I had missed the last chance I will ever have to talk to her. I haven't even been able to travel back to see my family, since I've been stuck in Ireland this whole time. My birthday is in a few days. This will be the first time in my life I don't get a card from her in the mail, or a phone call over dinner. I don't have many friends, and I'll likely be spending the day alone. I wish she had told me what was happening. I wish I had made that call and told her to just go to the hospital. I wish I could just hold a funeral for her. But I can't. I would climb any mountain in the world to get a chance to speak with her again, and I never will. Please, everyone. Make sure the ones you love know that you care, and tell them when things go wrong. It's better they're worried than to find out they should have been once it's already too late. Edit: Thank you, everyone, for the birthday wishes. It's nice to get them from at least someone, even if it's random internet strangers.

correction to what I said in chat: I had 21 feathers because a feather was replaced in the update with the boat race one and I already collected all 20, making my total 21. starting a new file with the newest version means the most you can get is the intended 20

this game makes me cry in two places: the last bit of the artists lament about anxiety about wanting to do stuff that will be accepted and the call at the end. both are so emotional for me, i love this game

I watched this video at around 4:50 PM and quickly loaded the game, and at 5 PM you will in fact be given their "historical dish" but without strawberries due to a shortage.

This game is something else. It makes a Heartfelt story so interesting, beautiful and understandable. It is my Favorite game ever.

That phone call hit a little too close to home. My own mom is currently dying from leukemia, and we were never really as close as we aught to have been due to family issues and I wish I'd tried to visit and talk to her more...I almost broke down during that call.

On one hand, I'm kinda sad I spoiled the "end" of this game for myself but on the other hand, this video was the last push I needed to buy this game. It looks so adorable, but I was afraid I'd get bored of it. Now I can really see it's charm. It's exactly the type of game I'd love to play after a long day.

I've been coming back to this video time and time again ever since it was first released. Everything about it is charming, and it helps me reflect on where I currently am in life when things go bad. Honestly, there are a lot of things here that I wish to aspire to be. The one that always deeply resonates with me and one that I remember the most is the artist. As an art major, there have been many nights where I was anxious of the coming morning, of what people want from me. It's far too easy to lose track of creating for myself and not for others, cause in the end, what we do for ourselves inspires the ones that come after us. A continuous cycle of inspiration. Thank you RT for playing this lovely little game.

I bought this game when I lost my dog. I was grieving pretty deeply because the way I lost him was very traumatic. I literally bought myself a Nintendo switch and then this game and couple other chill easy games just to get my mind off of him. So now this game forever will remind me of that dark time I was in, but with that said, I am also very grateful for this game because it was my little way of grief therapy.

Thanks for showcasing this game! I've been following it since development and the recent boat update was fantastic. I urge everyone to play this game out, get all the hidden stuff, all the npc dialogue etc etc. It's an absolute gem of an indie game.

Wow, this story really resonates with me. A year ago my mom got in a skiing accident and needed surgery, that summer I went to a summer camp about 2,000 miles away in New Mexico. I was climbing a mountain when I got the news that my mom's surgery finished with no problems and there at the peak I got enough reception to get to talk to her.

This game was so great. I am glad I took time to watch it. I am also glad that this video wasn't total chaos like a lot of the fans tried to make it. I am glad Daniel was able to bring it back and center it to just the game, and not anything that was out of place. Just enjoying it for itself. That's how I like people to enjoy games like this. One step at a time, not too worked up, like Animal Crossing. This game was beautiful, and I wish I could play it for myself. Watching this live was amazing! It has to probably be one of my most favourite streams ever. I was able to relate to some of the things in the game and the music was so beautiful. Also Rt playing the game made it too! I loved all the quips and I really appreciate how the video is a longer one too.

I’m not even a gamer and I loved this game. Stress free exploring, but plenty to do so it stay interesting. Cute story and really no way of messing up. The map felt very big too and I genuinely just loved the vibes of exploring such a cute island.
