damn my best memory, it was like back in 2006 when I asked my pops to register me for the game, but we was on a rush to school, and I was late to class and forget my meal at home because of the hype of that "new game".

I recall spending hundreds of hours with this game. Being member for half a year once, doing research on all characters, also know that really well edited sketchs you're talking about. I'll miss this game.

As a kid, I used to play a lot of games on Facebook and my favourite games were made by Playfish. But then Playfish was bought by EA (aka the masters of fucking everything up) and they started making really shitty games SIMS SOCIAL. I didn't really care since I could still play their old games. But then I noticed that some of their games were starting to disappear (the math game, the bowling etc.). I thought it was because those games were old and nobody was playing them anymore. But then, I read something that drained my childhood innocence and made me realize that life is just a blackhole full of loneliness and sadness. Pet society was shutting down. And that wasn't a game nobody gave a shit about, oh no no, it had millions and millions of active accounts, so I was so confused when I read the news. I got over it since I hadn't been playing that much lately and I still had Restaurant City, which was by far my favourite. But guess what happened next... No really just guess... RESTAURANT CITY WAS SHUT DOWN ONE YEAR LATER. FUCK YOU EA, IT HAD FUCKING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO PLAYED IT EVERY DAY AND YOU JUST DECIDED "Yeah, we shut this game down, it's not like there are people who have put hundreds and hundreds of hours into this game, haha. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my bath of money" NO, FUCK YOU, ALL YOU DO IS MAKE SHITTY GAMES AND YOU DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT THE QUALITY OF YOUR OWN PRODUCT. Well, you just made me cry.. especially with that note when you tipped the iceberg. Club penguin was the first game I played online. I got older, got bored of it. But now I regret that. If I knew club penguin would end soon, I would've played my heart out of it. I never knew about this until my friend told me. I didn't even play the game on the last day. I never saw my penguin again! All the memories on that game makes my heart warm up. That game was really fun. I play club penguin rewritten and I look at the old rooms. And they did change a lot. But it isn't the same. I remember earning my coins, planning house parties with friends, playing at events, getting cool puffles. It makes me sad to think it's all gone. I played Club Penguin back in the legacy days of 2005, when I was about in 5th grade (I'm 23 now). This was back in the days before Disney bought Club Penguin, so there wasn't any Disney sponsorships at all. There also wasn't a lot of the games nor features that the modern iterations of Club Penguin had, such as Cardjitsu, the Missions, etc. It was literally just some minigames (The sled race and find four were my favorites), and a much smaller overworld with not nearly as much areas. It was a very nostalgic game to me, because it was the very first time I had interacted with strangers online. I found out about the game from Miniclip.com, and it was the game I had played the most on there. Those were fond memories to me. However, when Disney bought Club Penguin, they changed it in a way that broke my nostalgia for it. I'm not sure why, but I think the reason I liked Club Penguin so much was due to its 2005-ish feel. When Disney bought it, they changed the art style and made it more modernized, which is completely understandable, but it was a change that made me lose my nostalgia for it, and eventually move on. I'll always remember Club Penguin as a symbol of how much nostalgia I have for the internet back in 2005, the year I first interacted with strangers online and leaped into the next generation of technology and communication.
