Flutter web isn't made for static pages. Its defenitely for Web apps like Whatsapp web, iRobot etc. and for such purposes, it's doing pretty good. And regarding the fact, web and desktop is almost the same, you got theoretically got web for free if you build for windows.
Short answer: No. Long answer: Also no. As much as I love Flutter and spend most of my time developing in it, the web is just not there yet for general purpose. The reason they made it "stable" so that package makers will start to create Plugins for web too. It's good for internal admin panel right now. Let's hope Flutter web is gonna be a thing in the future as it's the best framework currently on market
Flutter for web is like you said, not for general purpose. I am not sure what the reason is for the push of stable. However, you had a good point on package managers to integrate web as well. No one can predict the future. However, we can only hope.
@@iGhostr I'm not fan of anybody. I used to loved flutter, I developed a couple of apps but it doesn't have a future in my opinion. I rather spend my time learning other technologies. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe you're wrong choosing flutter. Time will tell
