When you said you almost feel like you’re intruding when listening to dear my friend, I totally have the same thoughts. A lot of yoongis music makes me feel like I’m intruding in something I shouldn’t. A lot of it is so deeply personally, and dear my friend feels like such an intimate and private letter to his friend. However I agree that despite it being a specific story to himself and his friend, it’s still relatable. Walking different paths from people you thought you’d go to the end of world with. I’m always so grateful that yoongi is willing to share such beautiful, personal art with us
Honsool has got to be the best song (production wise) from yoongi. He produces the beat so that it has a dreamlike feel yet contrasts it with a dark voice at the beginning of the song and after the chorus. To me it seems like he is living through a dream of his that is taking a toll on him so when he drinks alcohol he momentarily feels relaxed. However this dark voice comes to his mind and reminds him of all the darkness surrounding his position. Almost like he's living between a dream and a nightmare. Idk really it's just my interpretation 😂😂but the song is still🔥🔥
Tips for Lyrics: There's a few websites out there that already write the lyrics and translate (like "genius lyrics") so maybe you could copy those? that way you won't have suffer writing them one by one. I don't think there should be an issue with copyright coz it's straight up lyrics from the song itself. Anyways i appreciate you just having the lyrics in there when you don't even have to. I know it takes a lotta effort to put it all together so thank you for that. ILY!! \ ( ^ 3^)/
i always think i'm the only one losing it because i'm "already" 23, like 23 feels like i'm almost 40, which is basically 70, and then you're dead and i've waisted my life
I love it so much, I love every song from the mixtape, I cry every time listening to Dear my friend because that just hits home, I'm so proud of Yoongi. This mixtape feels more mature and we can see the change and growth. I love him so much pls.
ASH IDK IF YOU RECOGNIZED THIS BUT HE SAMPLED THE "YEAH YEAH YEAH BURN IT" in BURN IT FROM OUTRO TEAR i just had to point it out bc i died as a tear enthusiast
as soon as I listened to this mixtape I thought "wow, ashley will definitely love it" so when I received the notification of your video I shouted HAHAHAHA, I couldn't wait. A lot of love from italy sis, love u so much. 🖤☁️
waiting for this queeeeeeeeen d-2 is so amazing as always agust d never disappoints him talking abt the topics he just wants as an artist is what we can here foooooor
I'm still waiting for that collab with Logic. They teased us on Twitter and I wanna know where that is. If Bobby had a hand in making this album I'm gonna lose it lol I'd lose it even more if they made a song together
Funny how songs can remind people of something that happened to them before. Like the song Honsool, when I heard it, it reminded me of that time I was so drunk and didn't know what's going on around me... and I was on my way home looking at the view outside my ride..
I have been waiting for this video since the mixtape came out! But I agree! I’m glad to see the growth between his first mixtape and this one. Also, you missing that Jin was in the video...I understand, I didn’t know it was him til I went to Instagram and someone pointed it out to me!😂😂😂😂 all the songs are so good though!
okay but what you said about dear my friend !!!!!! ahhhh you made me so emo pls :( also really relate to what you said about 28 and how anxiety inducing the idea of growing up can feel
"Even though he didn't say names, I know some people out there about to be real hurt with the truth" Say it. You KNOW Suga went all Love and Hip Hop Atlanta about these rappers (to RM, probably) "You better talk to them before I do, 'cause I'mma hurt their feelings," And of course RM forgot.😂 TL:DR COME THROUGH, MY PISCES KING!
I'm new to your channel, but I'm also turning 24 this year (in five days, actually) and I'm freaking out about it because I'm late to the "adulting life", but most of it is because of anxiety
