Will Lou Gehrig be 99 Overall? Will he be a CORE Card? Are you excited for Season 2? Should they bring back Seasons for MLB 25? Do you want Challenge of the Week, BR, or Ranked for Tomorrow's Video?!
Just completely dropped the ball this year Hopefully all those strong, independent whamen who pre-ordered to play the new RTTS will carry the sales from this disaster
Agreed, they need one season just like the freaking game they are “watching and then making for us to play”… cards need to only update every month or every 2 weeks as players get better or worse throughout the year.
@@Baseballify WRONG what's the point of having wildcard spots if you get no progress in ANY of the programs in season 2. You shouldn't be punished for using a wildcard spot. Using wildcard spots should make you feel rewarded. And instead it makes you gain progress towards programs at a much slower rate. Also seasons and sets are just stupid in general. I will not be playing Diamond Dynasty ever again if they still have set Seasons next year.
I like these kind of vids where you talk to us and add your opinion. Even in the content vids I would like to see more of ur opinion and perspective on the cards and game versus just blurting out stats I think that would improve the content a lot! Like I can read the stats on the screen I want to know ur opinion more so than stats.
The blog post mentioned core cards in the Lou Gehrig program, so whatever cards are in there will likely be core. I love that captains are more relevant this year. They just need to do a better job of making all of them useful for lineup diversity. How can you make a decision on whether or not you want sets and seasons to continue before we even hit the second season?
My prediction for the LG program is MAYBE 2 Gehrig cards -- 1st one in path will be a core 85 to 88 and the final one maybe a 95 to 99 one -- I am kind of sure on the first one but not so on the 2nd card -- at least as sure as I can be for a prediction
One thing I want is to not have cards behind pay walls it’s not right I don’t have money for virtual crap that is irrelevant in afew months nothing else matters
They make it way too confusing and I’m sure complicated for them content wise. If you do a year long ovr creep then you wouldn’t have to worry is the Honus going to be 99 or 89 since it’s a week away from season 2. Plus year long creep is better IMO for interest throughout the cycle
Them dropping like 92-95 CORE cards the week leading up to the next season sounds amazing since we could literally only use this card for 7 days and thats assuming you can play the moment it drops, complete it AND play all week. Which is simply not possible for the majority of people
I miss the old weekly program, where u could get packs, xp & stubs, I was hoping Gehrig woulda been a surprise early set 2 card , but it looks like he might be a core card
Seasons needs to go as it stands. Other games have seasons but still have a year long power creep. Not sure the best way to do this for MLB but I haven't been motivated to play even with double XP this last weekend knowing almost all my cards will be useless in 9 days. I still need to finish TA 3 but it would only be for collections to get to 250 so I get the extra wildcard to start season 2. I'm really hoping they do change things in Season 2 and make it better. I think I got one more season in me but if it doesn't get better it's on to other games.
I’m sad the that the all star game cards are going to be 93 overalls for his year😢 because they are team affinity cards and since the first is 89 the second would be 93😢😢😢😢
I like seasons concept but i would make it 2 have s1 go to All star Break with the As program as the end of season bang and have s2 with the rest of the way through playoffs with ws as last season bang allow people yo start with 2 wild cards with ability to gain up to 5 or 6 wcs have xp program every 2 months
So I jumped from mlb 22 to 24 and I have to say 22 felt like a better game. I don’t hate the seasons because it’s something fresh. But in a period like this where they drop a 99 Lou Gehrig it does feel pointless to grind for it unless it is a core card. Overall they need to drop more core cards just so you don’t have a full team of live series.
I will say MLB still is the least pay to win game out of all the sports. 2k literally removed the auction house. Imagine not being able to sell your cards bro. FIFA always been about packs same w madden EA games
See I thought the same, but their blog posts says, “You can earn and unlock three Wild Card slots from the Season 2 XP reward path starting June 7. Stay tuned for how to earn the fourth Wild Card slot.” To me that sounds like there’s some other way, but I guess we will see!
@@TwinGamingTVhe’s wrong don’t worry twin they lack reading comprehension and they think because the wild card is unlocked right now it will be there in 2 weeks. Nope all wild cards reset after a season. “Unlock 3 wildcards via xp path and the 4th to be determined. It literally says it on the game menu, complete head start and unlock your first wild card slot.
Sets need to gtfo…. Never have seen any sports game where you lose your players almost half way through the game… it’s so stupid. They’re ruining their own game and they don’t even realize it for some reason
I think, Seasons24 is waaaayyy better than Seasons23 … because of the power creep. I like the new approach doing it in circles … I liked 21 way more, but I am open for more change in 25, since they improved with 24
