We're taking a quick look at some fan theories that have popped up here and there over the years. You, yes you, can support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/squirreltactics
Cotton has an uncanny ability to sniff out people's backgrounds. When he first meets Kahn, he immediately knows he's Laotian, when he meets Gary he immediately knows he's Jewish. I feel like if Bobby wasn't his biological grandson, he would immediately detect this and be very vocal about it. He loves Bobby and even praises Hank for "making him."
I think that's supposed to imply that he is a racist. You gotta remember, racism back then was recognizing and then highlighting someone's culture/ethnic differences. Unlike today where racism is defined by someone treating someone else as an equal.
The US Military actually gave soldiers pamphlets to teach them to distinguish the features of friend from foe peoples. Very politically incorrect, but this would be a very smart reference.
He knew those ethnicities like the back of his hand because of the War. He killed fiddy men! Most if not all of those were Japanese and he was probably so disgusted with that the nazzees did with Jewish people he just recognized and remembered their features too.
Which is a play on real people like him. Right wing conspiracy theorists often (not always) don’t see the real conspiracies and just pick and choose whatever ones sound plausible to them. The thing is, most conspiracies are plausible because powerful people do bad things. The problem with that though, is the truth eventually comes out. You can’t keep a kabbalah hidden for hundreds or thousands of years. We’ve seen evidence of real conspiracies with JFK and MLK’s assassinations, but instead they focus on what they feel like focusing on. Edit: To clarify, I am a progressive populist. I am not right wing myself, but I used to be.
IF Dale knows about Nancy and Redcorn, he's not keeping quiet to get revenge on John Redcorn, but because he loves Nancy so much he was fine letting her find happiness from someone else. The real mystery is why he loves such an awful person so much.
Cause he has seen what divorce did to Bill. And he doesnt want to go down that road. Think about it. Out of the 4 of them Dale hates bill the most calls him name after name. Cause deep down Dale knows he can end up like Bill
I'm in the boat that Bobby is the reincarnation of a Lama. He did pass the tests but also did it in a way that he would fail. My guess is that Lama Sanglug in this life wants to experience all the joys and pains of life instead of being a monk all over again.
My favourite is that Dale does know that his wife is cheating on him but chooses not to as it ruined Bill’s life and it appears that something are better off unanswered.
I think that would also explain why Dale is so scornful towards Bill, because of his fear that if he confronts Nancy and he ends up divorced he would turn out like him, and because of that he rationalizes hating what he never wishes to become himself.
Peggy is a HORRIBLE teacher for pretty much the entire series. Her Spanish is abysmal - the only time she seems to competently say one sentence in Spanish is in the pilot episode. She also sucks at basic math. It makes no sense that she would win substitute of the year twice (the third time does NOT count).
Yes I always assumed because of that episode that the reason why he has so much free time to do whatever but still does some work most days is that he owns a company which rents limousines to people which provides him a steady income. Also, multiples episodes of King of the Hill were obviously broadcast in a different order than what was intended with a few episodes because it's easy to tell when they're rewriting things like their past lives despite previous episodes or when they just went out of order because the writers were otherwise very good with show continuity. At the end of the day though it's just a fiction not real so the writers do whatever they need to do to make the episode work whether it makes sense or not. They will make Dale intensely stupid or very smart able to figure things out that the others can't like when Ted Wasonasong asks the guys if they know what eminent domain is in the mcmansion episode and dale says how it's a way for contractors to get lucrative kickback deals through the government to which Ted says "correct", and Dale also downloaded instructions on how to operate a tank which he did with ease, only making one mistake shooting the cannon. The point of the show is to be funny, so they write whatever they need to in order to make you laugh and entertain you.
I agree that Dale creates delusions to cope with trauma. There’s a good chance he started doing it when he got scared by the puppet. So things like believing Nancy over Bug on his wedding day, not believing Bug was gay, not acknowledging Joseph isn’t his son; they’re all just him creating dissociative delusions to protect himself.
I disagree. Boomhauer's badge, job might be a head injury, TBI 🧠 , speech problem. This is why he's not active in the Ranger homicide case, Debbie. Or why he's not seen wearing guns, uniforms
@DavidLLambertmobile one reason I go with it being a “fake badge to pickup chicks” is in the Debbie episodes they drew the Texas Ranger badge correctly.
i feel like that's a joke they're gonna make in the reboot/continuation, lol. boomhauer's way too chill to be in law enforcement, there's no way that's not a fake id he probably had dale and octavio make to pick up some skirt
Guys talk like that and rangers tend to be odd but capable guys. Like they don’t hire your normal cops, they get guys who want to drink water out of hoof prints.
I never liked the "dale knew about nancys cheating" theory because when ive seen it, its used as some kind of revenge like dale "wins" in the end and honestly that doesnt feel right Now what of Joseph knew about the affair would be way more interesting
That's honestly one thing I hope they touch on in the revival. Regardless of whatever they decide to do with Dale's character, I can see him still being oblivious but instead Joseph finally learn and come terms with being the product of an affair. He's basically Dale's son in spirit so I can see him being just as oblivious into adulthood and once realizing it wanting to cut Nancy out of his life like Dale did with Bug.
Going back to the "dale knew" theory in the episode where it's revealed John redcorn has a daughter with bills new girlfriend and dale thinks he's the father because of aliens in the end of the episode dale states he's happy John redcorn doesn't mind raising someone else's kid because he says wouldn't do the same
I think that Hank isn’t “on the spectrum”, he is very repressed, except when he isn’t such as when he lost his temper when the guys were in the tunnel under the alleyway, or when he cried after closing the garage door after Ladybird was lost after fighting the raccoon, or when he laughed after Khan reprimanded him about finding Bobby half-naked in Connie’s bedroom. I’ve known people such as him. He had a pretty tense upbringing.
I don't buy into the "Dale always knew and is tormenting Redcorn by being the best father Joseph could ask for" theory, but always helping him doesn't necessarily contradict it. One layer deeper, just (seemingly) genuinely being a good guy to him could just be one extra spike, reminding Redcorn of exactly what he's doing to who
@@jarreldoomis3502 I meant remorse for his actions of adultery and cucking a guy who's never wronged him. Him wanting Joseph in his life always struck me more as a "he's *MY* son", rather than than a "he's my son" kind of deal, the guy along with Nancy and so many others in the show just permeate selfishness. If he really cared about Joseph then he wouldn't have had him in the first place, and wouldn't keep trying to come into his life when it's clear that Joseph loves Dale and is happy with his family. If joseph ever found out the truth, I strongly believe he'd hate John Redcorn for it, and if John cared about Joseph's opinion, he' know that.
I've always adopted the idea that Dale doesn't know about Nancy and John Redcorn primarily because that ruins the joke. I know it doesn't necessarily discredit the theory or anything but the thought that the conspiracy theorist believes everything except the obvious conspiracy right in front of him is too funny. Besides, Dale is so head over heels in love with Nancy(like Squirrel tactics said) that he could never in a million years suspect her of cheating.
I think Hank is neurodivergent. I know people are quick to say 'oh, not every character is Autistic' but there's very few characters I get this vibe from. I know a lot of it is trauma, but a lot of signs of trauma are also traits of Autism. I'm Autistic myself and have watched King of the Hill every day since it was put on Hulu. No idea how long its been, but I'm just saying, I've seen every episode a few times. I've been watching it regularly likely since I was brought home from the hospital. I was born only a few months after it aired and my mom's always liked it. He 'needs something to jangle' when going to speak to Enrique, and whether we really see it or not, because there's a lot of the Hills lives we don't see, it sounds like this is a recurring thing with him. It's a stim that he's using to try to comfort himself. That episode where he wanted a meatloaf sandwich but really didn't want to even chance having to sit at the long table or being pulled into conversation. And his big fix that he was so excited for was headphones. Which my god is relatable. He's socially naieve and awkward, misses social cues, and has trouble reading people. The only being he is completely comfortable around and able to relax with is Ladybird. He's so close and loves Peggy, but he just can't be entirely open with her. Ladybird is what I would qualify as an emotional support dog (huge difference from a service dog) since we see just how much better Hank feels when Ladybird is with him. Propane is a special interest, as is lawn and home care. Which is a special interest a lot of people don't pick up on with undiagnosed Autistic adults. Cotton being Cotton turned Hank into a very high masking individual. I am too, no one ever picks up that I'm Autistic. But that's because I also dealt with A LOT of religious trauma, verbal abuse by 3 parents, teachers, and a lot bullying where even teachers were joining in. Hank can't even be completely honest and open with himself because he's had to shut down so much of his personality from such a young age. We know how incredibly organized he is by his garage. It also makes sense why he would want to be with someone like Peggy. Aside from a few flubs here and there, Peggy is a very direct, easy to read and navigate person. She says what she wants instead of him having to guess, she doesn't (usually) play mind games, and she is very caring toward him, showing him affection he was often denied. She's also good at calming him down and generally being there for him. If you disagree, it's totally cool, I'm not going to argue. But this personally is why it would make sense to me if he was. I have a few other reasons, but these are just what's at the top of my head. I doubt that they would ever say it directly, but it does make me feel like there's someone on TV that has a brain similar to mine.
As someone with Asperger's, who's watched KOTH since it's inception, it's scary how much I identify with Hank. I never picked up on Hank's being on the spectrum until it was mentioned to me, then I could see it all. The meatloaf sandwich debacle really resonated with me. I honestly probably would have just given up on the sandwich. I don't remember the exact episode, but Peggy points out one of Hank's tics, which is also one of mine. "Don't do that thing with your nose that you don't know you do". Then we see him flare his nostrils.
@@chadgervais6323 If I'm not mistaken, it's the Olympic torch episode because they were about to go on the news. I would kill for a scene in the reboot where he's finally embraced modern technology because he can DoorDash a meatloaf sandwich and finally enjoy it intact and in peace.
@@cassier8414 could he get an intact sandwich though? I've heard many stories about app drivers helping themselves to some or all of the customer's order. I'd like to see Octavio working as an app driver though. I could see Hank getting a smartphone, but I can't see him using delivery apps.
Arguable. He's not physically strong or athletic, and sometimes not overly bright, but he's charming to both people and animals, funny, resourceful and wise, and has a penchant for getting good at things quickly when he's focused on them.
Have you found Rusty Shackleford here in the wild. He has the same profile picture as you but his name is literally Rusty shackleford. I'm not trying to make some weird joke no I really mean it there's a account on here that has your same profile pic but he somehow was able to snag Rusty Shackelford as his username
I think the Koth fandom has got to be one of the worst when it comes to making up theories. Just about all of them can easily be deconstructed. The only one that seems possible is the kidhauer one, since the show gave both Buck and John Redcorn each a child they didn't know they had towards the end of the show.
I think Bumhauer is not a DPS Ranger in the final show, I think hes either retired or more realistic, Bumhauer has a medical retired 🏥 from the Rangers. This is why the dep is not upset with him in the street race or why Bumhauer never wears any guns, badges.
I like the theory that not every episode is necessarily canon. Considering the cut final scene of Lucky’s Wedding Suit where Hank outright states episodes like Tankin’ it to the Streets and Yankee Hankie were fever dreams of Bill, it makes me wonder if other episodes are filler as well. One such episode I think most people could agree on that is not canon is A Rover Runs Through it considering how hard the episode breaks series continuity.
@@bencrowson7661 I like those episodes, don’t get me wrong. King of the Hill filler is clearly way higher quality than something like anime filler. I’m just saying this idea also opens up the possibility of correcting continuity issues.
My take is that it's Hank's way of keeping Bill to not yap about certain events and is a joke. Considering the crime committed in Tankin' it to the Streets probably wouldn't be a bad move to keep Bill quiet about it. Hank wanting Bill to shut up about Yankee Hankie should speak for itself.
Random Thought: I would not mind them recasting Dale’s voice actor Johnny Hardwick’s passing, but if they didn’t. I also would not mind them killing him off. (How I’d might do it) Maybe he’s developed cancer due to all those fake pesticides he’s been surrounded by during his career. Heck they can even suggest that Dale has known for years and tried to treat it himself, and that his own treatment was causing his baldness. And in the end while everyone surrounds him in the hospital saying there goodbyes. Nancy final tries to tell Dale the big not so secret.. secret. As she gets choked up he holds her hands, smiles at her, then smiles at Joseph and says “Yes, I know, but he’s still my son.” While everyone starts crying… Dale eventually says, “Look, the aliens are here.” As everyone looks up, then screen fades to white. RIP
The way I'm picturing it is that you have Hank say something along the lines of "huh so all those years of smoking finally caught up to him" which is why Dale's voice is different. Also remember Dale has been smoking for pretty much the entirety of his life and is the only person to have won all the prizes in that smoking catalog which even the president of the cigarette company that he was suing said "he should be dead by now" so if they wanted to kill him off they can but I wouldn't want that I rather they change the voice than to remove a core character. I mean if Dale is removed who do they replace him with Khan, Lucky, Moss or just keep it with Hank, Bill and Boomhauer?
@@conspiracyspider looks like you spent time thinking about this too. Good ideas all around. You are definitely correct. Dale is definitely one of my favorites characters on the silver screen as a whole, and I wouldn’t love seeing him go. Plus I’m sure there’s many talented people that definitely sound like Dale Gribble.
I can definitely see why someone could read Hank as autistic, and honestly I also read him that way sometimes, but he does just seem like a guy who grew up in an abusive household. His difficulties expressing himself emotionally feel more like a result of him growing up with a parent like Cotton, who, let's be honest here, raised Hank in a way that didn't allow for anything that wasn't in-line with gender norms for the era. Coupled with when and where he grew up (Texas in the mid-20th century), I read him as just your typical emotionally repressed Boomer.
As an autistic person, I think it could be possible to read him that way. But you also have to remember that he went through a lot of abuse because of his dad, and his masking to me at least seems less autism-driven and more driven by the fact that he grew up in a not-very-progressive time period regarding masculinity and the way a man should act if he wants to be considered one of the guys. Hank definitely fidgets, which could be seen as stimming, but even non-autistic and people who would be considered neurotypical can stim and fidget. It's just human nature and doesn't automatically mean he's on the spectrum. Same with his devotion and obsession with propane. That could easily be read as autism just as easily as it could be read as him having ADHD or anything else. People who see Hank as autistic aren't in the wrong for seeing him as such; canonical autism representation in media is very focused on a very few depictions of autism (usually nonverbal, always stimming, obsesses over childish things OR incredibly mature and smart, essentially savants which in reality are quite rare!) so people seeing their own autistic traits in Hank is wonderful 😊 It just means he's a relatable character! In the end, it is up to each individual autistic person to decide for themselves and nobody really has "a say" in what it really is except the creator(s) (and even then, headcanons exist for a reason)! I hope that made even a little bit of sense. Sometimes I over-explain and then I get jumbled up 😅
He has the weird obsession with propane and propane accessories that extends far beyond work lol Constantly speaks in a monotone voice Uncomfortable being touched in general. Couldn't deal with the people in the meatloaf sandwich episode at the restaurant Likes to keep everything precisely ordered, even things that don't matter
@@THEGREATMAX Which are all autistic traits, yes! I promise I am not trying to argue with anybody about this, I even said at the end of the day my comment is just what *I* think and that everyone's free to think their own thing! I even do to a degree think Hank is autistic myself so it's not like I'm against it!
He's not autistic. He's just dedicated his life to propane and is the straight man of the series to everybody elses various degrees of crazy. Thats literally his character
It's funny dale is a conspiracy theorist when he's friends with a man like Hank boomhaur and bill who have some connections to the army(cotton) law(police badge) and military (hair cuts). He'd probably have been arrested decades ago if they didn't grow up with him A theory I believe is bobby is way more like his father than we think in terms of how skilled he is with meat guns and charming the ladies. He just doesn't work hard as he doesn't have drive in one thing at a time.
The biggest hole in Hank not being Bobby's father is that it almost entirely undermines Hank's relationship with pretty much every character in the show. Obviously, it undermines his relationship with Bobby - if Bobby is just different because Hank isn't his father, that's just kind of dumb and takes away from what I would argue is the CORE of the show. Many episodes with Cotton are actually more about his relationship with Bobby and how the two raise a kid that's different with him. In episodes with Khan, Hank finds common ground with him because they are both parents and it's often because their kids didn't turn out like they wanted (Connie's name comes from her being Khan Jr. because he wanted a boy, not a girl). Of course it ruins his relationship with Peggy and Bill/Boomhaeur for obvious reasons.
There's also the fact that Boomhauer witnessed illegal activity plenty of times but did nothing about it. Like when Big Willy Lane was vandalizing Hanks fence and rolling cars onto his lawn, Boomhauer would've had the authority to arrest him right then and there. Also despite being good friends with him for years, he absolutely should've arrested Bill for stealing a whole freakin" tank from the army base, that goes well beyond letting a friend off for speeding (and I know Texas Rangers don't issue speeding tickets)
Could be an example of him losing touch with his Laotian heritage like Ted hypocritically calls him out on at least once, like when he confused what group of Asians built a big chunk of American railroads
I believe the alien episode was made to shut down the "Dale knows" theory. Because at the end of episode, Joseph comes up with the most convoluted explanation for why he is still Dale's biological son. And Dale, of course, believes it. So, Dale now believes Joseph birth had to do with aliens taking his DNA and implanting it into Nacy.
The whole point of the theory is that Dale is self aware of the stupid stuff he says and goes along with everyone treating him like a dummy because it benefits him. I saw someone say that maybe he's not enjoying his conspiracy theorist persona and only uses it to cope with trauma. We see him do this with a lot of things namely, his baggage with his father. Why can't we assume he says and does all this stupid "Joseph is an alien" stuff to cope with the fact he knows he's not Joseph's father. It could be his way of getting through it without actually having to confront it. He gets very emotional when he tells Joseph is an "alien baby". What's fun about the theory is both could be right.
@@Mehhhhhhhhbut it's not. It defeats the whole joke Dale suspects everyone else but not John Redcorn and his wife. You're just an idiot who wants this show to be deeper than it truly is. The show isn't that deep.
I agree. The diner scene where Dale first says Joseph wasn't his child was made for the audience. Hank is a mirror of us, because we also know the whole story. The reasoning that Dale "did the math" and couldn't have physically been with Nancy sets up the expected reveal that he's gonna name his prime suspect. But then his alien theory is revealed and Hank again mirrors the audience's reaction: What? We see into Dale's imagination where Nancy and Redcorn are merely good platonic buddies. Despite his conspiratorial thinking, Dale can't fathom his loved ones violating his trust. We see that in the lawnmower episode and the numerous times Dale has an opportunity with other women but expresses his undying love for Nancy instead.
Actually its a white Buffalo, not an Albino Buffalo that's the sign of good luck which coincidentally about yesterday an actual White Buffalo was born in Yellowstone.
My only objection to the Cotten theory would be how much he cares for bobby. I can't really see the man who was willing to do so much for his grandson do something so rash even by cotton standards for a lost cause like killing castro.
Actually it's possible but I don't think he would do it for Bobby but I think he did it for G.H. after all he knows he won't be around when G.H. is older even B.H. brought that up. So it's possible that he used that as his only opportunity to finish his mission and leave behind a slightly safer world for not only his grandson but his sons G.H., B.H. and Junchello
Good idea, doing video on fan theories. There's a few more I've heard, varying levels of possibility: Hank and Hal (a one-shot character voiced by Drew Carey) are half-brothers. Given what Cotton has been doing, and assuming he doesn't have a narrow urethra, it could be true. Dale's "sh-sh-sha" is chanting "USA" in Russian. Dale admitted once to knowing Russian, but it doesn't really make since given how distrustful of his country he is. Cotton has a narrow urethra and he genetically passed it down to Hank and Junichiro. Given the existence of GH I doubt this one is true. In real life narrow urethras don't affect reproduction, but this is a cartoon. Luanne blew up the Megalomart in a mental breakdown, but she did not intend to kill Buckley. His angel visited to help her cope with her guilt. Remember that she was studying propane in a previous episode. Dale is on the Autism Spectrum. He manifests the signs in a different way than Hank does, but the traits are there. Bobby never went through puberty because his deer hunt didn't happen. Connie and Jospeh both go through puberty and had successful deer hunts. This is more of a thematic reason to keep Bobby's voice the same, but it's an interesting idea.
There's one more theory that could also (absolutely) be true. " Does Luanne have a secret talent for mechanics? " There's a lot of evidence that backs up this theory. She fixes up Hank's truck and other vehicles.
@@ciscojacobo7168not really a secret talent more like she's naturally gifted with mechanics but chooses to be a hairstylist because of an image her aunt Peggy wants her to achieve.
5:31 Boomhauer is a Texas Ranger and was assigned to Arlen to keep tabs on Dale since he and Dale were already friends. Dale’s anti government views were making waves in Washington
I know these types of vids are more work than the episode summaries/reviews you usually do but god damn it Bobby I’d watch these til the end of the earth I tell you what
The funny thing is that these are easier to get through copyright checks. One of the clips used here is over thirty seconds long and went right through the checks with flying colors.
Here’s my theory-Mike Judge and/or the other writers are not Texas A & M fans. There’s quite a bit of shade and preference for its rival throughout the series. In the second season premiere, Peggy mentions a team that “beat the Aggies.” In “Escape from Party Island” when Hank finds college students from both University of Texas and Texas A& M, he says to him, “How are the Longhorns looking this year?” but he doesn’t ask about the Aggies. And the season finale features a school that has a similar logo and fans or alumni who pretty much act like fools. It all looked like a dig to me.
My personal theory about why Bobby never goes through puberty they way his friends do is because of the pack of cigarettes Hank makes him smoke as punishment though by that logic Joseph shouldn't go through puberty either because of all the second hand smoke from his father
I swear if they had an episode in the new series where Hank decided to get tested for autism the world might implode. My suggestion is don't say yes or no just use facial expressions and the environment to tell the story at the end
I always thought the bill being bobbys dad was a a terrible fan theory. 3:02 i think the reason why Bobby isnt named after boomhauer because hank would be weirded out if Peggy would have named Bobby after an ex. I wouldn't want to name my child after an ex or my partner's ex no matter what even if they ended in good terms 🤷♀️ 5:17 i always thought that boomhauer was a mantenido someone who mooches off their parents or at least his dad payed off his house or just outright bought it for him
Boomhauer was probably wounded in the line of duty and medically discharged. He probably did work a part time holiday job to raise money for holiday expenses and such.
@@conspiracyspider Worker’s comp might not always cover the whole amount. Depends on what they’re willing to pay out, plus Boomhauer isn’t in a wheelchair or something such as that.
@@conspiracyspider Could be supporting his parents. They have a condo in Florida. He claimed they “won the lottery”, but he probably meant it as a euphemism. Homeowner’s Insurance is crazy expensive in Florida.
@@emmafrost7151 and even if they did win the lottery, it was probably a lower amount even after taxes but enough for them to retire or at least buy that condo.
My own headcanon is that Dale knew but wasn't particularly upset about it. Like, Dale's a whacko but he's also pretty chill about some things people would typically not be chill about. There's not really evidence to support it, I just like the idea that he was just waiting for them to outright tell him on their own instead of doing some kind of "ah-HA!" to them. (That would totally be something he'd love to do normally, and he's very protective of Nancy, so again, no evidence, I just like it)
I've been saying since the KOTH Finale that the Texas Rangers badge is fake. Showing off a fake badge to pick up women is 100% a move Boomhauer would pull.
That's another theory, but I don't personally feel like Boomhauer would be the type to lie to get with a woman. Especially about something like that. He's a player, but he's an honest person. It's more likely the writers just wanted to throw that in at the end like "Woah, didn't see that coming did ya?" without much thought into how much sense it made.
@Amins88 I think Bomhauer was just retired or more likely had a DPS Medical retired. 📂 To be a DPS Ranger you must be a sworn State Trooper for a min 12yr. 🚔 . You can be nominated to a Trooper post approved by the Texas gov.
I agree that Dale is repressing his knowledge about Nancy and Redcorn’s affair. After getting his kidney removed, he was in twilight asking Nancy why Redcorn was in their bed. In the Queasy Rider episode, The therapist tells Nancy to remember her home if she feels like she will only find happiness somewhere else. I think this is eluding to Nancy confessing her infidelity. Dale was unaware of this revelation since he admitted not paying attention during their sessions.
in my head canon, Bobby is Lama Sanglug and always has been. It just kinda stuck in my head through the entire run of the series. That's why he could catch a fish the same way a bear does, that's why he feels so much pain whenever his heart breaks, that's why he finds such great joy in high tea or a velvet suit, He's a Lama experiencing his life unbound for the first time in a LONG time, and everything he does he does big. Even when he does nothing he does it big
I always felt like Dale’s alien parentage theory regarding Joseph was his way of dealing with knowing some version of the truth. It just seems too cartoonishly silly otherwise.
Let's not forget he also had a vision during Hank's vision quest where he describes John redcorn wearing a headdress and doing Nancy followed by Nancy giving birth to Joseph who has the same headdress as John redcorn but instead believes that he is a native American. So yeah Dale knows at least subconsciously but is actively trying to not acknowledge it by spinning it in whatever way he can to maintain this image he has in his head.
This is now my 3rd favorite video of yours. Worst B Plot is now in 4th place. Also there are many theories that I didn't even know, one example is Boomhauer being Bobby's real dad. Also I had no idea about the theory about Bobby's god like powers. 2:35 funny edit 16:11 also if that line doesn't convince you that because of Peggy's skydiving fail made her a huge egotistical narcissist that I don't know what will. Seriously, because she uses to her own advantage, it's like she knows about the theory herself. 18:14 seriously you need to make a video about Bill's weird noises. 19:04 Hank's got a point
I’d more describe Bill as Bobby’s non-biological uncle that taught him to be himself. So I do think he had influence over Bobby like a father, but I don’t think Peggy would ever touch Bill willingly.
I mean in a way Bobby is Bill's son as Bobby was given Bill's secret family barbecue sauce recipe and told Bobby he could do whatever he wanted with the recipe after he's gone.
Saying that Bobby looking like Good Hank as proof that Bobby is Hank’s son is giving a lot credence that a 79 year old man can have a kid with a 40 year old woman.
That actually makes things worse considering there's a theory that says that Hank and Peggy are brother and sister. Also when you take into account how many women cotton has slept with it's possible especially since Peggy does look like a genderbent Hank. This could even explain why Cotton only wants sons.
Cotton faking his death would also explain why he wasn't buried in his plot that Peggy helped him get, because it wasn't his body that was cremated and he didn't want anyone to find out, so he had his son flush the ashes unknowingly and get rid of the evidence of his crime. Because yes faking your death can be considered a crime especially if life insurance is involved.
My theory is that Boomhauer, Bill and John Redcorn have actually between them perhaps dozens of children that are illegitimate and the reason they act so strangely today is that much of Arlen’s youth are all related to them and it’s a sort of secret pact. This will soon perhaps in the revival series may become a plot point. Also I have a sort of production theory right now where the revival series only right now has it’s dialog recorded but due to the death of Johnny Hardrick, it’s animation or whatever else is being done is currently on hold. Lots of media is announced only to be canceled.
Some of the theories are very intriguing and interesting to consider being at least plausible, like Boomhauer being the father of Kidhauer, while others aren’t that interesting in that the more you think about them, the more you’ll roll your eyes at, such as Bill being Bobby’s father. Thank you for video man, your stuff is always entertaining to watch. I hope you’re doing well, have a great day and take care!
Apparently at one time they were going to have it revealed Boomhauer worked as a roofer and was on an enforced recovery period after injuring his back. But changed their mind because watching peoole speculate *what* Boomhauer did was more fun.
I will always say Cotton is Bobby’s father. I believe Peggy either “milked” Cotton or actually did it, and that’s why she hates him. Hank wanted a child. She wanted to give him one and Cotton would make a baby with no questions asked.
I have one myself. Maybe Cotton is Bill's dad. That's why Bill loves being in the Army. And why Bobby looks like Bill. Maybe Bill knows that but doesn't tell Hank to hurt him and so he made up an abusive relationship with his dad.
It makes sense. Cotton claimed to have slept with 273 women. I mean there could be a possibility that hank, junichiro and good hank have at least 6-24 other half siblings somewhere
I can't decide what's funnier/better, the possibility that Dale, a known conspiracy theorist who is suspicious of everyone, can't see the biggest betrayal happening right under his nose by the person he loves most, or the possibility that he knows Joseph is Redcorn's bio son and is playing the long-game--i.e. having fun convincing everyone he's just THAT crazy and gullible, and taking the biggest revenge he can on John Redcorn in the process. I think the former probably fits better with the writers' typical sense of humor and intentions, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dale knows the truth somewhere deep, DEEP down. Also, I do wish we'd gotten to see more of Hank and Boomhauer's friendship; it's hinted throughout the show that he's the friend Hank respects the most, and the two seem to have a kinship that Hank doesn't have with others.
