We were at cedar point for the 4th. They stayed open until 11 and the amount of people that stayed to get night rides was crazy. It took us over an hour to get out of the parking lot and we didn't leave until midnight.

That's why we have an ez pass. The pa turnpike tracks where you get on and where you get off. Then charges a flat fee based on how far you went. Unless you get off in between somewhere, we have never had over $100 in tolls going to Hershey. We used to go to lancaster PA every year which is the same exit.

Our plans right now are to spend a few hours at KI during the day then head to blue ash for the show with other family. I love the idea of having the 3rd KI's big show. And staying open later.

As far as retheming the action zone to DC, There is a character in DC that goes by Silver Banshee. the ride would be painted Black and Silver

Let's remember most of the board, including the ceo, is from cedar fair so I don't see a lot of the six flags practices will see the light of day. I think the six flags parks will start seeing more cedar fair practices.

On the all park pass now with the merger I feel certain with our family of 5 we will be priced out of all parks and revert back to just our home park pass of KI. Corporate will price as if we're visiting all parks when I'm reality we still will maybe only get to visit 3-4

After getting on the water coasters at holiday world and at Dollywood you gotta wonder why Kings Island is lacking in the water coaster department

Im going to Kings Island, even though it's not closing at midnight this year. Not happy about that, because I like to go get some rides in while the traffic clears. I hate sitting in stopped traffic. Not sure why they chose to not do that this year! Probably a Six Flags thing! Speaking of that, one of the many things I absolutely hate about Six Flags, IS The IP's! I would never come to Kings Island again, if DC comics were in the Action Zone spot or anywhere in the park! I do agree that the old Action Zone area needs a refresh, but NOT that! That area has always had an identity crisis. But, the coasters there are really good!
