Always nice to see someone branching off from one activity to more. We definitely need more gameplay videos and more reviews on cards (says the one who basically never does them). Support~ Support~
The field does look a bit different but not too much from others TCGs so that is really "lets wait some more" (like, Bandai is fixated on making people wait) but yes some observation can be made, like yours about stacking. I think that will be the core/one of the core mechanic of the game, both because it would be iconic and also because Battle Spirit did that in the past so it would be strange not having a Gundam and a Pilot "fusing" together. I have a problem with the card slots next to the decks. Why? Another energy system based on using cards from hand and probably capped to 10. Again. -_- Anyway, the real problem to face is that you, like any other player waiting for this new tcg, have to hope that Bandai does not self-destruct themselves constantly. You need them to treat it like it exists. It may be go better than the rest of Bandai's TCG here in the west (except for OP, lets be real, that goose will keep laying the purest golden eggs in the farm). So just hope to do well at the start even if the first products are shit bcs otherwise Bandai will just lobotomize that TCG out of their brains. Another thing I hope for is that this game will not have the same gameplay of ... like ... all the rest of their TCGs (except BSS, like, that is a nice unique gameplay).
Ya I have very low expectations for how the company will help/contribute to the overall promise of the game. I just want/need bare minimum at this point, as long as the cards, product, gameplay loop is fun I am content. I just wanna be excited about the game for the games sake haha.
well... there's also a chance they'd take from hololive and pokemon though. Since bushi manages to snatch and revamp pokemon's system and make it better, why not?
@@re0798 idk how the hololive TCG Is. About Pokemon, maybe, but i do not really trust Bandai on being "lets make something new that actually Is different from the usual formula"
@@effe9192 they actually do pretty well in creating new things, battle spirits and digimon were really good creations. Their mana system were different from any other games. However, Bandai is horrendous at developing and marketing said creations. Battle Spirits hasn't had a proper anime for a decade now. Digimon stopped 2 years ago. No matter how horrendous a game is, it will live if you promote it well enough. My example being pokemon and vanguard. Those games had arguably worse development than digimon and battle spirits, vanguard being rebooted 3 times because they went too far with the powercreep. Pokemon just lived through clout alone like an OF girl, this applies to both their tcg and console game. Bandai is horrible at promoting their product, and they also give up really fast. if one of their anime gets a bad rating they almost immediately cut it off like a tumor. Which was the reason they stopped with BS and Digi anime
In a perfect world they'd make the bss collab set with some Gundam cards from that game included as box toppers to start hyping people up. While I follow you mainly for bss I wish you well in your other games (pls try fusion world aha)
Idk if I expect anyone to have learned anything, honestly just feels like macaroni noodles at walls now a days. Especially with ads, tournament handling, and the like. We shall see, but my expectation is low. I just want the product to be 'good' so I can be excited about talking about it. :)
@RPGZieg_TCG I wanna be super hyped for gundam. I wanna keep playing bandai games, but each passing day I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering quitting bandai altogether
