Well done Logan. Very insightful, especially when explaining your thought reasoning on how/why to get away from it, and bring will into play by telling yourself you WILL meditate. Bravo. Thanks for this review.
You explained things well. Now based on AC's history, agenda and based on my personal experiences, you need to be careful with some states of meditation. Not for everyone. It can open doors to all kind of entities. It can make things worse
@@mufakam Opening doors to angelic beings, some good, some bad, demons, interdimensional beings. Opening yourself to the divine is a very personal journey and experience. Aligning the higher self with good frequencies when receiving informations, codes, frequencies from the universe beyond space and time. Protecting yourself with light, good energy. When you open portals, channels there can be all kind of intrusers, frequencies. Important to be balanced, grounded positively with rules well established while reaching higher dimensions, states of consciousness.
The contortions and breathing exercises do elevate the mediation though, especially in a more advanced physically strenuous pose, it forces you to be in the the moment. You're 100% to point out that yoga is more than exercise, however the "exercise" aspect of it is of value and is rooted in tradition.
It's interesting because I studied deeply the mystical traditions of India and am just now digging into Crowleys explorations and connections between shamanic/magical traditions
Because if your interest and mention of it in your videos I've been diving deep into Crowley and how he combines east and west essentially. The use of psychedelics to invoke entity in conjunction with other methods is extremely interesting to say the least.
heheh, I've been going through a few of my Crowley books since the "lockdown" started. I recently finished the Yoga of Power, this sounds like a good follow up.
I've now watched all of your videos and I'm a big fan. I'm also a fellow professional libertarian. I was twice the National Director of the Libertarian Party and worked on five LP Presidential campaigns. I was the manager of Harry Browne's 2000 campaign. I also co-founded two libertarian organizations, Downsize DC and the Zero Aggression Project. Needless to say, it's fun to see all those libertarian books on your bookshelf. I'm nominally a skeptic but I've become interested in esoteric subjects because of the profound but unappreciated scientific confirmation that exists for many aspects of the subject. So it's also fun to look at those books on your shelves. You have increased my interest in 19th Century literature, which I have previously disdained because of the verbosity. I'm going to be taking a second look based on some of your recommendations. There's one author I want to suggest to you, given your interests. His name is Fritz Leiber. I think you might especially enjoy two of his short novels "Conjure Wife" and "Our Lady of Darkness." Keep up the good work. I'll be watching. Perry WIllis
Thanks so much for your comment! I’m always vaguely surprised when people actually watch and enjoy my humble channel, especially people who share my admittedly minority political views. I will certainly check out Leber as I am always looking for new authors to discover.
@@LoganAlbright73 We are certainly an electoral minority, but perhaps not in terms of general inclination. I have and article that looks at some of the numbers. It might interest you. www.zeroaggressionproject.org/perry-willis/how-many-libertarians/
You're probably aware of this, but there's a connection between your libertarian interests and your Aleister Crowley interest in the form of Robert Anton Wilson's illuminatus novels. Crowley is even a character in "Masks of the Illuminati," if memory serves. I think these books are a load of fun. Very humorous, but also thought-provoking
@@perry-w-willis Yeah, I've been meaning to read those. The motto of Crowley's Thelema religion was also "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. Love is the law, love under will." Which I find quite libertarian. I'm actually working on a book called Libertarian Paganism because I think the two have a lot in common.
Your eyes look like the eyes of those who have sold their soul to the devil Pray for Michael the Archangel brother Those who have intentions to seek for evil, evil will find them
Please try not to corelate Yoga and an evil human like Crowley. Yoga is a religious practice of Hindus of India. It's not right to corelate such evil things with something pure.
Blah blah blah. You have no idea what you are talking about. Firstly Hindu is a Western term given to Indian spiritual traditions. They call it Vedanta. Crowley's life and habits were fully compatible with the the cosmic and eclectic nature of Vedanta.
