I think something you could go over again is pathways to end game from the beginning depending on the type of player and how to proceed and grind in the right spots I always feel like no one really gets that in depth without skipping massive tips to make progress feel better or more efficient
Doesn't matter you are new or old players, you'll stuck at Enhancing endgame gears forever if you don't collect silver to buy it, so that mean you have to spend a lot of time to collect silver to buy all gears, nowadays i just login to collect rewards and standing in Heidel, the game has nothing to do anymore for me.
I'd like to see a gear progression from your perspective, I've found really unrealistic what other creators have said about this (Like going from tuvala to garmoth to vell in like 1 step)
What you said about new player friendly is spot on. I started playing this game about a week ago after not trying it forever because of peoples old reviews on it. I wasn’t able to make a season character because I guess it’s to close to the end of the season I tried everything because I thought it was absolutely necessary to start as a season character to progress. And while I’m excited to make a season character next season it isn’t true. With narch gear being almost as good as pen tuvala I’m about as on par now as I would if I made a season character. To anyone reading this that hasn’t tried bdo. Give it a shot. It’s alooot of fun. Very Grindy but you get what you put in
I'm glad the game has a nice catch up mechanic, and like you said, it's really focused towards newer players. How else can they grow right? However for people that have been playing for quite some time, the lack of content is lacking. There's hardly new things to do

Honestly I think they need to make silver more valuable now. Kind of crazy that some people can make 350-700 million an hour at Centaurs... a low ap spot. Don't know how they would change silver but I would really like that. As for Woosa I feel her rabams and C and Shift + C are kind of crap.
It's a great time to be a new BDO player, but man as an OG player am I starving for content. I want the new region asap cause the only things I have left are like... rich merchant ring, debo belt, and I guess I could make one of the big ass boats but I dont care for bartering. Ive been wanting a class that dual wields Katars for the past 7 years. Gimme an assassin with Katars pls PA. Hash would have been a good choice for that as their awakening but... nope.
I played bdo obsessively in 2015/16 but dropped it, and now I'm back playing a Shai and the speed w/ which ive hit lvl56 just by passively doing the story + questing + light grinding has been crazy.
I'd like to see a guide for grindspots, both known and lesser known, for making money and progressing gear. Like, an explanation of what spots to grind per AP bracket or something of that nature!
I think all lifeskilling activities should be revisited and tweaked. Karma system should be a broader system and more to it. Make it benificial to be a red player. On certain days give a random grind spot a "hot time" for increased drop rate to draw in players. This motivates people to go and contest grind spots. More pvp activity, more player interaction.
Would love to see BDO make more of a battleground then RBF’s like a NW base RBF where you que in a 50 vs 50 build your gear and these matches last 30 minutes. While building your gear you got to mine , harvest or gather for your gear and you pick the class you want to be while crafting your gear. A lil PVE inside with the mix to gather items to craft. But it all comes down to team work
Definitely is new player friendly, stopped playing few years ago lost all progress with transfer so had start over, after 2 months I’m about where I left off, always enjoyed your content
Since they buffed bartering ( by just a little ) i stoped grinding and just do the 3 lists go to nodewars and i'm done OBS: i play other games while bartering.
I am on the Maegu hate train honestly, ruins all the group pvp atm. Its just not fun having a one shotting/two shotting class even in capped pvp, ruins it for everybody else.
I'd like to see/hear about the current ultimate end gear, items, titles, goals this game has. Like some the best ship and best gears. Merchant ring...and how you experienced this adventure. Any Milestones on your journeys your proud of achieving?
Did they add actual content to this game outside of siege or if you don’t siege is the gear progression just for fighting other players in grind spots?
the thing i always need help with is enhancing and getting all the cool gear people are talking about, my only time in the game so far has been season servers, once servers are done..i have no idea what to do or how to progress, i cant enhance stuff cuz i keep failing and become weaker than i was before, i have no money, no life skills and when i ask for tips on youtube all i get is "just buy all your gear"...i feel like i need someone holding my hand because of so much that goes into progressing in this game
I've been looking at giving it a shot, i played a little bit before but not much. My main question is what the heck do i do after i finish the MSQ, so like a list of what there is to do and what to prioritize. how would you go about getting your first stacks and upgrading gear. do you focus on life skills or your worker empire early or wait? can I do any pvp earlyish or do I have to be full tet first? horses?
MSQ > seasons til full V tuvala > grind centaurs till sycria > sycria till orcs > orcs for a long time > burn agris at gyfins > grind orcs till you hate it and then dont stop lol
yo i like this style of video too, i got to grind and just chill while i listened and watched. lol im a terrible meagu pvpr as well XD but the class is alot of fun to grind on pve wise. Really looking forward to woosa and maegu awakenings. no guess for me either
yeah i feel this. people gave me guides and clear cut objectives to gear and i got 640gs in 4 months. im 288 352. game is great rn! i wish more people would give it an honest go instead of just thinking its too much. every mmo is too much. you always have no idea what youre doing at the beginning. just level quest grind get gear ez pz

I wanna go back playing BDO but i lost my acc. Thinking of playing it from the start was fun and so much pain 😂 the most mmorpg game that i spent alot of time in my life. Getting Pen was a pain in the ass. It's amazing game but the grind is real.
I really enjoyed BDO but had to quit. I couldnt afford more than like4/5hrs per week of grinding and i didnt feel like paying for Kama and VP to grind only on weekends, felt like a waste of money to me... I wish you could buy VIPs easier at the Marketplace on EU servers.
For sure I would enjoy a healer class that focuses on healing allies and debuff enemies with DoTs and so on, pretty much what Shai should be(shai is life skill class, not buffing class, pls dont argue on that haters)
Yeahh same wish they would implement a healer/a tank, like have their succ or awk be normal dps but the other is just healing/tanking stuff. They could've made shai's awk strictly focused on healing and buffs but oh well
As a reminder, any new class that gets released is always OP, and will expect a nerf in the future to come. This has been the trend that PA has done for every release.
I've always just wanted a class with a big hammer, something like destroyer from lost ark or hammer from monster hunter. Thats the only class I would probably ever reroll off my main for.
Woosa seems a bit underwhelmed atm, small buff would do the trick, nothing too fancy and she would be in a really good spot Maegu is way too overpowered in pvp atm when you look at the damage and protections she has, pve is great on her and tbh, i think they shud keep that and buff other classes a little in pve to firm them out so to speak to give both new and old players a nice choosing! Overall i think both classes are a nice addition to the game final thoughts: Overall in bdo, i'd say if they focus on balancing classes more and aim to make the gaming experience more smooth between different classes, that would be amazing (pvp) and buff some off the classes that has fallen off a lot in grinding (pve) I like these kinds off videos, nicely done Ook!
As a Console player i think her clones for Meg Will disappear n not be on the map. I’m pretty sure she can’t come to console cause we can’t handle that on our map with the lag because of the older consoles we will see though
I loved the video but one real good point of discussion is alternative content u can do or so i believe... i have been extremely critical for bdo in many things but it does offer stuff to do besides grinding
I played a couple months ago. The amount of shit on screen didnt look new player friendly. I know people who quit within the first hour because of this. I got help so i made it to the awakening at least.
More content for people to actually play PVE together, more social. It feels like the game rewards you more for being hostile to others than actually playing together.
If you wanna make a guide even after playing for 3 years i have no idea how nodes and stuff works, i play on a small guild with my group of friends and thats it, we have talked about giving nodes a try but we never were able to figure anythigng out.
I'll be real, I keep leaving the game until I get returning player just so I don't get flagged for pvp, I hate pvp that much but this game is so well designed for everything else, they just need to make it so that you can make it so your account will never be flagged for pvp

@@LOONAbd The sad thing is they had some promising multiplayer gameplay back in the day. There was the battle arena game mode (easily fixable, just dont let new created account to join) and there was a tower defense gamemode where you could play with friends and the rewards were good. Had to protect some pillar in the middle while waves of various types of mobs would spawn and then a boss at the end of each wave. Had a lot of fun with those 2, and they were removed for no reason, good thing they implemented useless "dungeons" that nobody tries out anyways. Wont come back to the game unless they implement more stuff like that or release the wukong class (since it's my favourite mythology and I play him in any game i can, like lol or warframe)

AoS being a 0 silver/hour activity that requires so much effort is just a dumb decision. If a player is actively playing the game, they should be rewarded with silver or similar gains. The end of season reward is such a joke, 1 bil worth of items for 2 months of climbing the ladder? And that's if you finish top 100 which most people don't. There's literally 0 incentive to play AoS after getting the weekly coin.
i feel bdo needs more quality of life changes and guild changes especially with missions. We JUST got to be able to open boxes on horses. I want housing to be revamped and useful, i wanna play minigames with friends to earn some silver because most days i dont want to grind or lifeskill i just wanna hang with friends. Seeing minigames/casino would be awesome, also making the new grindspots and others useful, yes in know elvia is doing that but most are used for 1-2 things and arent comparable in sliver to others. The new spots in Eilton are only good for flame of frost and nothing else from what i hear. Overall just better quality of life, housing revamp and guild revamps, more co-op spots that are good and making the world of bdo lively outside of nodes and towns. Also PA needs to stop releasing so many characters and expansions when the ones they just released are so mid.
Yeah they used to have this game mode, I forgot the name but basically there were 10 levels and it was like you were in a tower, used to play it with 2 of my other friends. You'd have to protect a thing in the middle and waves of different types of mobs would spawn. It was really fun and the rewards were actually decent. I have no idea why they removed it nor why they dont implement more stuff like that. It's always the same:new zone, new basic grind spots without any new mechanics/team gameplay. I remember being so excited for a winter region since 2016 and waiting for it, imagine my disappointment when it was like any other region but useless and too high ap (every zone should have 1 spot for like 245k ap, for 269k ap and the rest for 280-300k+ so new players/returning players could also enjoy it).
I think this bdo meta rn in node wars is broken... Just ranged classes, archers and maegus everywhere spamming 3 skills and killing everyone u cant play with a class melee because u will just die for arrow or spells lmao... i think ranged classes need to be nerf fast because some classes cant play sieges or node wars.

The Maegu clone needs to go imo. It's pretty much useless in PvE, I've been playing her since release and I could honestly count how many times I used it on my fingers 😆. It's very annoying on the minimap
The game is still not beginner friendly at all. I know this first hand because i myself guided a beginner player (reallife friend) and he had to ask me stuff every minute. That was no problem for me , but the game doesnt tell you shi... How to properly enhance, what to do next, how to get geared , how pvp and CC works. Everything you need to google or join a discord for information. The game is also nothing more than a pure brainless grind game with PvP and tidous lifeskilling where you need to invest so much time into it to properly reach the required gear that the average BDO player has right now. Why should i play a game that is not fun in the first minute? When i played Mosnter Hunter World for example. Everything i did was fun from the start on. Nice cutscenes, the game explained stuff to you. You went on your first hunt and it was fun! Everything. Then you finally beat the Monster and you get loot to get better gear , in other words, you progress, but its progress where you have fun. Why should i grind 1000h to get 1 item and in these 1000h i have 1% fun, rest is repetetive and hitting the same buttons. Yeah there is PvP ok, but when people come from an MMO like WoW for example they also expect groupd PvE content. What else does BDO have really? It has such a big world, but at the same time it just feels empty. This is just my opinion and i think there are a lot of players that enjoy playing BDO but for me and i think also lot of other players a MMO needs some charm , challenging PvE content, and progression that is actually fun and doesnt feel like work.
if only the mid game got more love. it still takes quite a bit of time to before u can feel confident enough in ur gear to do some of the more "engaging" content in the game
Get rid of forced pvp. That is why my wife left and without her the game was boring. She reject a guy she got killed. I would defend her but they would simply focus on her and run away and refuse to face an able warrior or ninja depending on what I was playing. In games with forced PVP there is no pride or honor. It is just little punk bitches beating up on PVE players who reject them. BDO is a beautiful game. It has everything my wife loves. But there are no protection for a female who is not interested in a loser. I don't mind fighting over recourses. But harassment is not going to cut it. PVP should be arenas or you can only attack someone flagged. You can have pvp areas. But as long as you allow people to harass other then it will happen. So we took our money somewhere else.
This is so niche, how many girls do you think are getting target killed by discord mods, part of an MMORPG is immersion, removing pvp kills immersion. No one cares about honor In real life why would it be any different in a game?
Exactly why I quit the game,other mmos when you grind for hours is satisfying but this one doesn't hit it,they give trash and rarely good items and the weight system doesn't help at all
point on BDO is gear progression. the problem is the gap for NEW player and Veteran player are HUGE. u cant enjoy this game if u only like PvP but ur gear still bad
I personally dislike Solare and the sort of influence it brought to the meta of the whole game. I've grinded actual thousands of hours to get my gear and more than half of the pvp content in game is capped, then they started balancing classes around an optional 3v3 capped gear game mode. Anymore it feels like being 730 and trying to push farther is kind of pointless

Especially when you enhanced V Disto on top of all of that drama. If you have stack with your decision and never again played BDO... fine... It`s your choice... But to do that publicity stunt, drama, needless trash of the game (you back than had better things than I currently have still few years latter more or less)... Super bad... mega dumb..
