I just listened to this today as I was packing to be a counselor for a Christian camp. Over the last week, I kept hearing the word “humility” repeated over and over again, and when I crossed this video, I knew I needed to hear it. I am hearing from God to move from Colorado to Nashville to pursue music, or really any other Kingdom work God has for me there. Wow wow wow! I’ve been praying and talking to God about Humility because I don’t want to walk where God is taking me without it. David’s story is one of the story’s I resonate with the most in the Bible. The heart he has to be obedient to God and humble in His presence is how I want/ will live my life as His daughter. I love how Preston and Tim talk about never going or doing anything without Gods anointing and I truly believe that as well. If God is not in it I want no part of it. If there’s no anointing for it and or if God hasn’t called me to do it I won’t do it. It’s only been 7 months since I’ve got baptized and my walk with God has been life changing and transformative. I just graduated college this weekend and I’m at a point where I am willing and open to wherever God wants me to be. I ask for prayer when it comes to guidance and confidence. There’s been times where I’m not sure if God has placed things in my hand or if it’s me but I will always bring it to him and ask him to guide me. When it comes to confidence, I grew up being shy and dealt with things that made me self conscious so now when there is a level of confidence, the enemy tries to attack it and there times I give it attention but God brings me out and shows me ( like with this video) that the confidence I have is not because of me and my abilities, it’s because I can be confident in Him and his promises! Thank pastor Preston and Tim for videos like this they have helped me with my walk with God and I feel like I’m in the room with you guys having a conversation. God bless ☺️

Once again thank you Preston and Tim. These have truly blessed me. I'm having some problems with a girl at work. We just both have very different personalities. I've been praying that I can humble myself before her and God and just tell her how I feel in a humble respectful way. That we can just get it out in the open and hopefully both move forward as a team instead of against one another. God has put us both at this job together for a reason and I want to do everything I can to make it work for our good and HIS glory!

This has no correlation to the video but I would just like to say this. As a child, I always loved God but never liked going to church because I never felt close to Him whenever I would go a Catholic Church. I just felt like the word of God was never explained properly. They would say a verse and then jump into another one without thoroughly breaking it down and explain what God means by it. Then it would go to a song, a verse again, a prayer, and that was it. Growing up my sister was going to this Christian church. She took me once and every Sunday I’d beg her to take me even the days she didn’t want to go, I loved going because the pastor spoke in the ways you did. I cried when i worshipped, I loved being there and being part of the church. She stopped going and I didn’t have my license and I always asked and then it just stopped but God was still in my heart, mind, body, and spirit. For years, God has never left my side no matter where I am. I talk to Him everyday because I know He is always with me. Within the past few weeks, I’ve been listening to more podcasts, about life, God, & the world. I’ve always been a writer and wise for my age, I’ve been told I have an old soul. I love listening to what others have to say about those things and these conversations. I came over on one of your service videos and I clicked on it and I fell in love with the way you spoke. The way you had a topic, a verse, you properly broke it down, spoke about Gods word, explained how it applied to us and our daily life, and where we can take this message and think about it days after listening. Your style of speaking, is my style of writing. Then I kept finding more and found your podcast. I absolutely loved it and immediately shared it to my close friends because we send eachother new worship songs, podcasts, speeches, anything revolving God and what we think the other person might enjoy listening to. They listened to them and they loved your podcasts too! I’ve been sharing it with everyone I come across. I just wanted to say thank you for the work that you put it in! This podcast has really been changing for me in such a beautiful way. And I wish the world could hear what you have to say and the way God really speaks through you. I think that’s such a beautiful blessing to have. I will continue sharing it to my loved ones! May beautiful blessings always come your way by the grace of God! 🫶🏽

My prayer request for this season is to have courage to untangle my unhealed childhood trauma’s and to be able to fight through the spiritual warfare I’m experiencing lately. I got recently a lot of dreams that is connected to suicidal people, abandonment, betrayal and sadness (these past two days), which I honestly don’t understand. Even though I can’t fully understand why I go through all these things, I still believe God is preparing me for something in this season.

But when you talked about David taking five smooth Stones when he was going after Goliath and not needing a sixth one, did you know that Goliath was one of five brothers, and and in that culture, if David killed Goliath then Goliath's four brothers were obligated to kill David. So David only had one stone for Goliath and for more for Goliath's four Brothers.

This is my husband’s profile. His name is Jordan Phillips. He has been serving at our new church home for about 6MONTHS with the student ministry. He serves as the AV coordinator. Recently, he was approached by the ministry lead to step in to a lesson coordinator position. He has also been asked to lead the ministry meetings. He is trying to figure out why God promoted him when there have been people in the ministry longer than he. I pray for David’s confidence to overtake my husband for him to walk in partnership with what God is calling him to do.

People jokingly say be careful what you pray for. I have prayed for patience and I was given opportunities to be patient. I prayed God test my heart and know my anxious thoughts. I was tested. I prayed to see God’s perspective and God gave me a glimpse at his perspective. I struggle with anxiety and I met someone that also struggled with anxiety. I prayed that he would speak to me on behalf of both of us. He said anxiety stems from ego and pride. In the middle of pride and anxiety is I. I want. I need. I desire. He said the greatest act of love is letting go of what you can’t control. I learned that pride and shame are sisters. When you keep things in the dark they will eventually come to light. He taught me about the spirit of religion and narcissism. He taught me that Satan fell because he wasn’t meant to hold the weight of glory and Adam and Eve getting kicked out of the garden of Eden was grace. They got a second chance so what they reaped in the spiritual world didn’t have to stick. Everyone has the free will to choose. Everyone is accountable. You can either be accountable in the moment or make excuses. Eventually every knee will bow and every tongue confess. When I was a baby in my faith it sounded like a threat. Now it sounds like freedom.

I love how you want to prayerfully partner with people with all you have going on. I appreciate it because I appreciate you and your ministry from alllll the way over here in CT. 🙂I've been ruminating about a few things for the past couple of years, my desire to see people mature spiritually increasing over time. I was recently pondering one of those topics in such a way that I knew something was coming. Then Saturday the Holy Spirit made it plain how to bring these disparate thoughts together into a new group that I believe he wants me to launch when my church starts small groups back up in the fall. I already checked with our small groups pastor and he is totally on board with it. So I asked the Holy Spirit a few questions, including how this was going to fit into my schedule because I'm not doing things that are easily dropped. That same day, I find out my leadership in one area will likely be able to decrease in a couple of months. The next day, I think he took something away from me entirely and I hadn't even factored that in at all! I am laughing. "Alright, Holy Spirit! Apparently I need to just stand back and watch you rearrange my life!" I have a friend who has told me for a long time, "He trusts you." That was always a foggy statement to me until today. If the Holy Spirit thinks he can just move things and take things from me with barely any warning, is it because she is right? He trusts I won't blow up about it? I want that to be the case. I need him to show me how to plan out this group. I need even more space in my life because I am really quite tired but excited and I want to spend time with him so I do it every chance I get, including staying up as late as I am able and getting up to come to work as early as I can so I'll have that quiet time. I still don't have control over my prayer language the way I want, but at least I know when it will come more easily, which is during praise and worship when I'm in a corporate setting. I think I am at least knee high in his waters, maybe waist high, except I want to swim. And I've been asking him about humility too, so here you are, right on time. These are the things I am praying about. Thank you for reading all that and for the offer to join me in prayer.

I have over 20K on credit cards because of medical stuff and about to add another 6k from dental work that cannot wait any longer. I am most likely facing a 2nd bankruptcy because I am drowning under this debt that came about from not having a job while dealing with said medical issues. I hate thinking about doing it again, but I won't ever be free of debt if I don't. Am I being a hypocrite and therefore not truly trusting God. Thank you for your prayers and wisdom.
