Very nice 👌 just remember behind those plastics of were you want to place the speaker box are actually space to fit another set of 5inc speakers 🔊...just have a look and you can upgrade the current oem speakers to proper 5inc kicker or Jbl speakers then the sound are 100% better with some sound proofing around the speakers areas ...can't wait for your next Vlog 😁🙌🏼
Awesome stuff. Please also keep us Gen3 owners in mind. Most of the shortcomings of the Gen 4 Jimny are also applicable on the Gen 3 model. Just a hint. Before adding all the accessories, do a proper sound proofing inside the Jimny. This makes a huge difference in the driving comfort.
Great videos! Just another idea for the attachments what about a "Grenadier style" utility rails on the front doors and below rear windows, that tie down rings can attach to in various configurations that allows for tailored accessories set up? Another idea I really have wanted to see is gas struts support tail gate window flap up.
General Grabbers are a good tire option though not totally Tankwa-proof. The Jimny back door is at an angle, at least without the 90° gas struts therefore the table also is at an angle to be level when opened - all the existing rear-door tables look odd when it is not dropped down and the market is waiting for a solution that does not look bizarre when not in use. It would be advantageous to have a slot allowing access to the interior rear-door opening lever or better still a mechanism to open the rear door from inside integrated into the read door cover on which the table is fitted. * Unloaded, the back of the Jimny is very light but fully loaded the situation is reversed and a fuel can fitted high on the spare tyre way beyond the rear axle can become an issue. * If you take out the rear window for a storage solution, you can add a mechanism to carry an external jerry-can just above the rear fender - the lower the better it will be for the centre of gravity. I envy the old land-rovers that could carry jerry-cans on the rear fender and I wish that was possible with the Jimny. * Unless you insulate the interior of the Jimny (there are a gazillion videos on RU-vid) you will get bad sound no matter what you do. For listening to audiobooks, a Polarlander radio with integrated stereo speakers on the dashboard was perfect for my requirements on the GA model that does not come with a sound system.
First minute of the video and I'm like wow she knows her tyre specs. Anyway, I own both size. 215 all-terrains on factory rims for daily use and long distance travel. 235 mud-terrains on 15x6 rims for weekend bashing. I use Tough Dogs 40mm suspension kit with a return to center damper. I also fitted an 80L long ranger tank to suit long distance travel, which gives the Jimmy about 900km. Take your time and do a lot of research as it can get quite expensive to accessorise our little juice box :)
@@alu_cab Yeah mechanically it’s sorted for now. I’m slowly researching what I’m going to do at the back in terms of storage and dual battery. I agree! It is fun and somewhat educational 😄
Quite useful content for the people like me who are buying new Jimny. Did you check with Suzuki for warranty ? To me, in India, agency mentioned of loosing warranty on suspension if I change tire size. Are you also planning to get rock sliders ?
Nice tires. When I replace the stock tires I’ll get the same ones. Will you be doing a GVM upgrade. I’ve seen that there’s often a weight issue with Jimny remaining with in the GVM limit?
At the moment we are developing the accessories for the Gen 4, but we will definitely be looking into doing them for the Gen 3 too. Graeme has a Gen 3 so I'm sure he already thought of that 😏
Lovey video and products, but your ideas on upgrading the jimny seem very generic, nothing very innovative to really put your jimny products on the map, 😢
