Yes, everything is over as you know it once health deteriorates. I have a cyst, a bloodclot, overactive thyroid, and covid currently. It's like one thing after another. I can't even go to the gym or walk my daughter to school without pain.
This is what I wanted the Natasha Denona Retro to be. Ensley Reign has quickly become my favorite indie brand so I'm excited to make my third Ensley Reign purchase. And I'm sorry about your stomach issues. Myself, my husband and my 2 girls are all suffering from stomach issues. I finally convinced my husband to try gluten free and he's making a huge turn around. Now it's time for the rest of us to get relief. Hoping the new meds help you out. Stomach and gut issues are the worst!

I know from experience that when any part of your digestive tract gets inflamed, it will be like a domino effect and it can be so difficult and take so long to really get back to a functional level. I've had to have two intestinal surgeries to remove part of colon then part of small intestines. This messed up my immune system. I understand the pain.
I purposely ignored this video because I had just done a big Sephora purchase around this time. But now I can justify getting this absolutely beautiful collection! This look was stunning Angie!
Pain messes with your mind and mental health. I’ve been having back issues but am finally feeling better. I am so glad you are feeling better as well. My mom had dementia and she is sure she caused my problem and thinks I’m lying when I say she didn’t. Dementia has given her dark thoughts she thinks are real. Thanks for the needed break.
@@susanharmeijer862pardon my unasked for comment, but generally large brands have a lot of merchandising costs for stores to sell them that indie rands do not. The department stores and Ulta/Sephora get a cut from large brands.
It makes sense to me that indie palettes are actually more expensive but they still have a steep price tag. I wish they’d do something smaller. Maybe a 9-12 pan palette with a lower price esp for people just dipping their toes into the brand.
I think a lot of palettes are so or I should say too expensive for me. Especially now knowing they don’t come with brushes to apply the product with. 😞

Very pretty palette & a colorstory I am drawn to over & over. After being disappointed by the Venus XL II, I attempted to dupe the palette from singles. As luck would have it, Sydney Grace released Mel's Bundle which is very similar to this. I already have a collection of duo & multichromes that I can add for more ooomph if I want it. I am all set as far as spring/soft greens, warm browns, rosey-peaches/rusts & soft pink/burgundies go. It's my ideal neutral but colorful colorstory :)

I wanted to get this until I realize I had Sydney Grace's "In Mel's Memory Eyeshadow Bundle" with the exception of just a couple of colors is basically the same thing. I wore it this morning and recreated the look. The Sydney Grace shadows are so lovely and easy to work with, also her shimmers are easy and I don't get glitter fallout all over my face.
I've never suffered with my stomac ever till I had my fault bladder out I don't eat spicy food anything greasy or oily I make alot of my food from scratch I love curry spaghetti boll and various other dishes on that level xx

Yes! Looking forward to this ratio of shimmer to matte, and the price! $69 is way better than $89 for the Cold Moon. And a smaller palette if it brings the price down. This colour story is perfect for spring but I wonder if it's too muted for my medium skin... I wish they'd get rid of the expensive magnetic wells and bring the palette price down.

They are re-releaing Strawbeery Moon adding 3 new shades to the pallet and Im all about Ubuntu it. I love this new pallet and I cannot wait for the release. Yessss!!! I am so looking forward to this! I do wish they had more of a tone range; these look like a lot of mid-tones with a few pops of pastels. I don’t think this is the one for me but I’m have a sneaking feeling they will make a palette soon that is right up my alley!
Not good that you were unwell, but you're highly likely correct on stress making it worse. I have autoimmune troubles that took years to diagnose, but stress is one of the things that causes flare ups, that and not enough quality sleep. I also stopped having gluten, refined sugars, and nightshades and it made a huge difference to my head and my digestive tract
It almost reminds me of the Sydney Grace x Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels palette or the lime crime Venus xl 2 palette but I really like the way this palette performed and I haven’t tried anything from the ensley reign before so I would be interested in trying this palette out 💛 I’m hoping you’re feeling back to yourself I know how bad stomach pain can be I suffered for 4 years with no luck with medications to make it better before they figured out how to help and I know how much a toll it can take on everyday life

I’m so sorry your stomach issues are flaring up! I used to average an ulcer once a year or so (and they’d inevitably bleed because I’m on anticoagulants for my blood clotting disorder), and stomach pain is the actual worst. Obligatory “not a doctor” caveat, but I finally found a good gastroenterologist who prescribed dicyclomine for the really bad cramps, and sucralfate, which coats the stomach before I eat, and they’ve both been godsends; I haven’t had an ulcer since 2020 (and who didn’t have ulcers in 2020?) and any time my stomach starts hurting, those puppies knock it right out. I hope you feel better soon, and you’re having a wonderful weekend with Ricardo and the pups. 🧡
So sorry to hear about your digestive issues - some of the worst things are digestion, back and tooth pain... They can really knock the life out of you. Glad to hear you're taking some time off this weekend!!! I carry my stress in my tummy usually, and it's awful. Sometimes, just curling up and hoping to sleep it off is the only remedy, if falling asleep is possible. Sending healing thoughts :)
I’m not exactly the most colorful eyeshadow person, but I’m feeling very inspired by this palette! Currently watching this video as I recover from an adult tonsillectomy (no fun), so I can definitely sympathize with the struggle and bummer that comes from not feeling good/being in pain. Serenity, I purchased the full groovy garden collection as I had previously purchased the harvest moon. As my very first Ainsley rain palette. I use the two together today and oh my God they are amazing they complement each other I created the most amazing look.
Sometimes the body will get overwhelmed after the stress is over, you know how like students will get sick once the exams are over.. Maybe it was something like that! I'm glad you're doing better ❤
I'm listening to your Stomach pain story, and it sounds very similiar to what I experience. Incredible waves of cramping pain (not always some bouts are more severe than others) but when its bad, there is nothing like it. I can't pass gas or anything else to not be too graphic. Anyway my point is, i have just recently been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which was the root of it all, now on med's and an injection every fortnight. I wonder if your pains you get are Crohns it sounds similar.. Mine is often triggered by eating, it doesn't even have to be spicy food, just food. Can never been far away from a bathroom. I hope you feel better :)
This palette is gonna replace my limecrime Venus II. I kept it for color story purpases. The formula dried out super quick, but it's my favorite neutral colorstory, so I've been looking for a dupe :)

Same love the two rows of mattes! I love shimmers but my eyes are so hooded you can’t see them unless they’re on my lower lash line or inner part of my eyelid and corner lol.

Hey Angie, with my stomach issues I had to cut down caffeine, so no caffeinated coffee and cola zero without the caffeine, the bottle of Coke Zero has a golden cap! And warm tomatoes are really bad for the stomach but I cannot stop eating my bolognaise saus! Sooo a bit of stomach pain but it’s worth it! Plus I also had to stop stressing!! Stress was/is my biggest enemy. I hope you feel better and don’t get flare ups again! ❤️❤️

The look you created was lovely on you. Ensley Reign Cosmetics is a newer brand for me that I've seen both Battybean & you review. I think they have interesting eyeshadow shadows. Even though not every color story of the larger palettes released are for me, there is something for everyone. The price can be seen as high for a indie brand, but if the quality is there from the reviews I've seen, & various formulas, then I have no problem saving up & purchasing what I'm interested in from the brand to try this year.
Beautiful eye look and love how your dress matches it so well. I'm glad you're feeling better. Have you thought that maybe dairy might irritate your stomach. I have to be very careful on pure dairy, like, the milk I drink or put in my cereal is Lactose Free Milk. Also, Happy Birthday♥
