Pink dog is Cookie :P She's one of my favorite villagers. It was so much fun seeing these openings. Makes me want to find some of the old eReader cards I had.
I LOVE!!!!!!!!! I have a couple dozen e-reader cards for the american gamecube version. When you scan the neighbor cards in in the english version you get a letter in the mail from them with an item, usually had something to do with them or was rare. You could also mail neighbors the codes on the back to get extra items. The human cards let you play minigames on the gameboy to win stuff.
Opening those giant boxes of trading cards is such a satisfying experience! Used to be a thrift store near our beach house that always seemed to have new ones. Snagged a Jurassic Park and Aladdin one! I remember going absolutely bonkers over ereader. Drove my parents mad asking to drive me over to the best buy to get one. But as it turns out I was too young and stupid to really figure out how to use it once I actually got it.
I have never seen so many packs of Animal Crossing e-Reader cards...then again, I only have one pack myself. These cards look super cute though, Poncho is my favorite villager.
When I was in Japan, I bought an ACNL candy which had five flavors in mixed in one pack (apple, cherry, orange, pear, peach) and they were incredible. Also there were Animal Crossing themed stickers with animals and tools on them to put on your 3DS!
E-Reader Villager cards have the animals move into your town, buy only in the e+ version. In + and Population Growing, the animal only gives you mail. That's it.
Lol, I knew almost all the villager's names. Out of these cards Aurora (penguin), Chief (red wolf), Buzz (eagle), Doc (nerdy bunny), and Cookie (pink dog) were some of my favorite villagers on the GameCube and Doc just moved into my town on the 3DS :3

I like the Japanese cards better too because you can see all the corners of the polygons on each character, like they're straight out of the game. On the English ones they're all perfectly rounded out and I dunno... it makes them less interesting.
Well, I wouldn't call them e-Reader cards but Nintendo *is* going to turn unpopular Amiibos into Amiibo Cards which will have the same function as their statue counterpart but just in a card form similar to the e-Reader cards
Lucy looks a lot better in-game by the way. You should see the American e-reader cards because the characters are more rounded on those versions which caused some texture issues with some characters (such as Rosie, whose eyes look like they were glued on unlike in the game and movie where they looked fine).
Could you imagine how much America would love collecting these things we already collect a lot of things like skylanders disney infinity and amibo and also another reason to release the NN3DS
I kept on naming all of the bunnies and the two you called sheep. The white one was my first ever villager in any animal crossing EVER Baabara, and the brown one was Eunice, the first one I got in new leaf.
The bearded mouse is called Limberg, the pink frog is called Puddles, The girl pig is Lucy and the boy pig is Curly, the bear you kept calling Bluebear is called Poncho, the cat is called Purrl and the koala is called Yuka :) Also the wolf is Chief :D
Oh this is so cool ! I'd love to see what these cards do in-game ! I think Shigery Miyamoto said that they might consider making NFC Amiibo cards in the future as a replacement for discontinued Amiibo figures. Honestly it would make things easier for everyone to have that option available (cheaper and easier to collect). I hope they expand on this idea for games like Animal Crossing... Or even make the POKéMON trading cards NFC compatible so that they can be used in a new PKMN trading cards video game (while not making them a compulsory purchase). I wonder if that would be a good idea... Love your videos ! :)

I think there was only 2 characters I wasn't sure of. Honestly I could have watched every single packet get opened and I would have still enjoyed it. XD I have so many ideas on what they can do for the next Animal Crossing. My theory is that we will see some sort of announcement of the game mid-year, and it should be released around 1 year later. I can imagine it being a summer game of 2016 (winter for me). So once Splatoon has been released, I expect to see something shortly after regarding AC. I'm surprised there wasn't any trailer for the Mario Kart DLC, what happened to that?
love these still have my animal crossing cards i remember you could scan them and get mail and there was also a key code you could type in to nook and he would give you an item you would see in that animals house :D
I looove e-reader cards! Weren't there cards for like NES-games? I wish I had the japanese animal crossing. Hoping for atleast Amiibo compatibillity in Wii U one. Maybe new clothes, instead of fortune cookie.

if you scan certain characters cards in the game you get them as your villagers ex if I scanned a Walker e-reader I would get him as a villager however it only works with e+ cards
OMG, MY FAVOURITE VILLAGER PUDDLES WAS IN THE FIRST PACKAGE!!! I'VE HAD HER SINCE I STARTED PLAYING - omg, caps lock overload - whatever; she's the best villager evaaaar ! :DD
Leeloo Wheeler I think he shouldn't have judged her from the e-reader card (since they might contain 'mistakes'). She looks a lot better in-game, especially in New Leaf.
