Let's Visit Cheboygan, MI 

We had property deep in the woods up in Onaway which is a town in Presque Isle county next to Cheboygan and my gosh was it just gorgeous up there, lots of dark pines and the colors during the fall are just beyond an eye melting beautiful experience. The green bright summers were just unforgettable and it’s very quiet. It’s another vibe up there. Very remote area not a lot of people which I love it’s all untouched nature at its finest and the Great Lakes are such an amazing touch to this state.

I use to walk this place down town back in 1968 brings back good memories 😂❤

Cheboygan is really nice and the small drive-in on the south side of town has great food! I have traveled to Michigan the past two years and love the lakes and woods. Last year I stayed just south of Cheboygan in Alpena and had a great time. I was born in Minnesota and love the great outdoors. The marina in Rogers City is real nice to visit after you leave Cheboygan.

I've been to the U.P., but haven't explored much of Northern MI in person. But looking at Google Earth, it seems like an area that would fascinate me! Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mackinac, all the Petosky rocks, this area is underrated!

I went to that town about 55 or so years ago. Several times, with several people. And I never realized it was on a river, or on the lake. I mean, I knew it was on the lake, but we never went out to the lake. Strange. I have only been back to Michigan once since then, and then I only went back to Ann Arbor and Detroit airport.

Like the video I watched it again. I would like to live in cheboygan beautiful area.

This video was especially fun for me. I'm a Harbor Springs resident and my wife and I are looking at houses in Cheboygan for retirement. There are waaaaay too many tourists on the Lake Michigan side.

That pier looks exactly like the one built in Caseville. Must have been constructed by the same company. The water looks better in Cheboygan though.
