I don't know how you even put Astro's on backwards...I have a pair and it wouldn't make any sense to put them on backwards because then it would mean that the mic opens the wrong way and all of the controls would be at the front of your ear rather than the back.

They are useful as vents, I'm really not seeing what you're getting at. They had to shut down the last place because animatronics walked through the door and killed a guy, after that they're not going to want doors.

I think many people forget that the entire fnaf series was done by 1 guy. All the characters, environments, lighting, gameplay mechanics, easter eggs, all done by a single father with a family, and yet able to produce so many games each with their own unique gameplay in a span of a couple of years. So the gameplay isn't that compelling, the guy had to make do with the amount of ability and time he had. I've seen many games produce by big studios who have years to make a single game whose game can't even compare to the amount of effort this one dude puts into his work. Give the man some credit he deserves.

piplupcola Just because one man made it doesn't mean we can't call it bad, many people have made games by their selves and spent YEARS making the game perfect and has quality, Cawthon did neither of these and pumped the game out in less than a year (at least this one is different).

compared to all the other games this one is by far the best one. idc about how shitty it looks, i actually really enjoyed how this was all put together. i really have to say scott really did a good job on this, the game mechanics are a little harder, but are actually really good.

Idk why people are complaining about this one, of all of his games this may be the most innovative. Its got a truly dark, surreal atmosphere and story, arguably much more twisted and dystopian than the others, and certainly with more exposition and dialogue to enjoy, plus a wider variety of horrific environments to traverse. Sister location is one of his best, if not the best, truly.

i do agree that this is much more horrifying because it's a lot less active in a way. the tension is much greater and tho theres not as many jumpscares the suspense is much scarier

marygrace hulett Aren't there more scenarios for jump scares here than in any other fnaf game? Most of them you're sitting in one room, with only one of a few possible monsters jump-scaring you. In this one your all over the place with a bunch of different kinds of threats to contend with, all with their own gameplay mechanics for doing so.

My only thing I have against it, was I wish there was a bit more, because some of the animatronics may not be as memorable for how little time they had. My personal opinion, I still think this is the best story wise.

it's funny the different ways people react....like Markiplier (and me) LOVED the humour but I can see Michael and Gavin were absolutely unimpressed with the 'quirky' new elements in this game. Kind of killed the mood at the beginning but I guess everyone's welcome to like different things.

I enjoy this series because of the rich story it tells that isn't clear to the average gamer. You have to FIND the story and the story is so complicated. It's like doing something secret for an achievement in a game but instead of getting gamerscore you get another piece of the story. Sure FNAF isn't as scary anymore, but it's gone past that kind of entertainment. I'd rather it tell a rich story then just try to be scary in different ways.

I think the issue they run into is they're making content the audience thinks they want. But if they really didn't want to play the game and it shows, the audience isn't getting the reaction they were expecting so they get upset.

Horror games aren't really my jam but this one seems particularly naff. Yeah, I'm sure it's scarier when you're actually playing but it was so predictable. Previous videos in this series were entertaining to watch but this game felt like it was leading you by the hand through a bunch of set-pieces. At least with previous FNAF games there was a sense of unpredictability that helped maintain tension, even across attempts. This seems more like "hit a checkpoint, die, repeat set piece until you succeed"... under those conditions how long can a jumpscare hold up?

If you go into FNAF looking for jump scares then you miss out completely on what makes the game so popular. Micheal and Gavin jumped on to play it and they pretty much glossed right over every important aspect of FNAF.

The game's success is primarily because of it's story. That is what they glossed over, which isn't something that Michael and Gavin usually play games for anyway.

This one is actually one of the best ones. It is very immersive and innovative. It is rich in story and has a very dark sense of mystery and dread. And freaking Ennard, man!
