Friezatron is in my top 5 along with Vabito, Gutsmitri, BILLCORD, and COLEX. And it’s in my top 3 along with Darth Vader vs Obito and Bill Cipher vs Discord.
Gojo vs Makima ultimately depends on how they interpret Makima's abilities. Either she thinks she's above him or she needs to make Gojo think he's beneath her.
@dusky5535 yeah, it's really tough to say for sure. She has one thing that might get past infinity, but we don't know exactly how it works other than her using a sacrifice to kill someone. Does it effect stronger people or no?
This episode is definitely a highlight of this season. I especially liked how Frieza was so pissed that Megatron dared to mock him that he went from Golden Frieza straight to Black Frieza. Next time's gonna be interesting for sure, not sure who wins though since I haven't watched/read either series. Looking forward to the Most Wanted Matchups list!
Love how Megatron is watching his planet turn to ashes like he said he would prefer before the fight started, and proceeds to just tell Frieza to get fucked, it gives off Billcord vibes but Megatron doesn’t protect his home, instead he just mocks Frieza for destroying what he wanted

This fight was a ton of fun. My only gripe is despite both characters being known to prioritize Ranged Combat, I really wanted to see more fisticuffs, like they said frieza is overwhelmingly superior to megatron in terms of raw strength so imagine just seeing frieza just tail throw Megatron or just thrash him with his unique fighting style like frieza did against Goku on Namek. Plus with the major size difference there was a huge opportunity for some really unique choreography regardless.
True. My biggest (and only) complaint is that the panic bubble barely plays a part in the match for something they dedicated time to talk about. It stops Frieza, Megatron catches him and launches him out of the bubble immediately. Kinda wish they had a close fight in it or he wailed on Frieza a bit before throwing him out
@@Edurdongalso another thing that got me a bit is (idk if a text box explained why but if one did then Nvm to this comment) they said Megatrons Energon Canon needs a recharge after a certain number of shots but multiple times megatron spammed that canons blasts like it was a semi Auto. Not to mention if it needed a recharge how could it last that long holding back a golden frieza Powered Death Ball?
@@EdurdongI think devilartemis posted the storyboards on Twitter. And There were some scenes that didn't make it into the fight. Like one of then had Megatron fight Frieza in the panic bubble more and pummel him in it, him and Frieza have a brief clash for a bit near the end before Frieza goes black form, Megatron actually uses the antimatter a bit more, etc
Holy shit i just thought of something, the whole reason why they were able to to beat Makima was cause they didn't attack her with hate in their hearts, but love from Denji. What if Death battle makes the fight close, and Gojo finally doesn't feel alone anymore, and Makima in her final moments doesn't feel closed off anymore either, and then gets bodied by purple
I appreciate how they acknowledged that Megatron COULD win in certain situations, but Frieza just outclassed him in too many key areas. They even showed this by Megatron nearly annihilating him in Black form, which was super cool. Considering this was both character’s first appearance in the series, they gave both the respect they deserved. Really excited to see more Transformers characters, Shockwave would be a menace.
Animation wise, this fight was actually really damn good!! Beyond that, sadly this felt like a low point for the season for me but if THIS is the low point, thats actually still not too bad overall
Man, no body left for Freeza to create a mothership from. Honestly, given how powerful he is now it's likely his natural form is actually strong enough to kill Megatron. Remember that Goku's body assimilated the power boost of the SSJG transformation into his base form and Freeza was able to match him during the golden Freeza/ resurrection F arc. In both their base forms at the time they were powerful enough to destroy the dragon Ball universe and more because Goku had been training himself, so he was stronger already than he was during that infamous clash. Golden Freeza and Black Freeza were frankly overkill, but appreciated to see.
Overall a pretty good episode. The fight and music are utter masterclass, but the analysis mostly brought it down in quality. I was hoping they'd give Megatron something interesting to even the playing field, but they just didn't, making this one of the most straight forward verdicts with no interesting twists or turns in terms of the analysis itself. Probably the best fight and best music of the season, just wish I didn't know the victor basically since the match announcement. Only reason I felt Megatron had a shot was because I thought it'd be silly for Death Battle to do such a stomp that didn't have some kind of catharsis to it. At least Frieza's first foray into Death Battle was well animated and composed, and Megatron did get a good speech in there, and mentally scarred Freiza against Cybertronians for life. So I guess there are worse ways of handling a stomp. Now to wait five more seasons for the next Transformer rep.
Okay that next time reaction is hilarious for all the reasons. One was fear the other was just laughing This episode was good...but I'm so mixed on the analysis of both characters. The fight was so good to make it up Just pure fun fight megatron was all story...Frieza was Mostly calcs iirc
Megatron's voice sounds a lot like Vegeta here and I think his phrasing at the end could also somewhat fit him. (What? The king? The prince? Or the planet? - Sorry, there's so much DBZA in here that I just had to...)
Rooting and betting on Gojo for the next one. I could see Gojo just walking up to her and using infinity to crush her like he did to Hanami until her lives run out, and the head crushing attack was something that needed prep to do. And for her controlling Gojo casue she thinks he's beneath her, his birth alone was able to shift the tides of the jujutsu world. So she'd have to actually beat him in order for her to see herself as better than him, like she had to do for chainsaw man.
but she had a contract with prime minister of japan, for each damage she got each japanese citizen will receive, so for each kill she receive 1 citizen of japan will die.
She can most likely get around infinty with that attack she used during the first Katana Man attack. The domain expansion would be difficult, though. I don't think she has any way around that.
@@SavateWolf but the point is a way of gojo kills her.. and i don't see a way for that, her contract permits a random japanese die when her die or gets demage (if i correct), so for each time gojo kills her more approach the chances of kill him because, he is a japanese citizen. But i know during battle gojo will notice that.

Nah, EVERYONE is gonna skip that one because it won't be remotely interesting if they just use s1 Makima where she's still a mystery and used like 1% of her moveset. Either they spoil s3 of Chainsaw Man ... or ... s4 of JJK and s3 of Chainsaw Man. I can see them sticking to s1 Gojo but Makima's analysis would literally have to go like: "She is actually a *Redacted* and a *Redacted* . Her true end goal is to *Redacted* . She has accomplished numerous feats such as *Redacted* . Her abilities include: Voodoo long distance damage transfer, *Redacted* , *Redacted* , and *Redacted* . In the present, She's helped Denji and is still Shady as fuck. How will this fight between the Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer Vs. The *Redacted* pan out?"

@@eclipse9727they spoiled the ending of part 6 of Jojo's in DioCard FOR NO REASON. Sure, Pucci was a loyal "follower" of Dio, but why go there when Dio himself didn't do anything in that part. What made it even more hilarious is the fact that the anime adaptation of part 6 was about to start when the episode dropped. And for Ace vs Natsu, they dropped a spoiler warning for Ace's death (something that by the time the episode dropped was already known by pretty much everyone, even non One Piece fans), but for Natsu's backstory, which was revealed a few months before the episode, there was no warning at all.
I don't really think the anti matter could kill freezia, or really any universal character. Anti matter explodes on contact with regular matter, and said explosion would mean nithing to freeza, think about what that means, Assuming the best case scenario where freza's body is completely covered all at once, freezia would literally lose 1 layer of *atoms* then the explosion would move the other anti matter away and give him time to react
I know nothing about the next series other than "aren't these both going? Neither of them are going to be anywhere near their full power how is this even happening?!" I'm usually eager to learn about new characters but it strikes me as woefully incomplete, isn't it?
@@Redrunner613 Oh interesting. I was under the assumption that Gojo was the name of the main character of JJK and that Makima was the main villain of CM. But again I know very very little about either series.
Really was hoping megatron would win because transformers are alot more powerful then they look from there show plus we havent seen much of black frieza since he first appeared
Fun fight to watch though a dumb fight due to the opponents. DBZ chars are just insane and this was never a fair or such fight. I think they are best when not one sided. That being said I feel the better and far more interesting villian lost and the less interesting and worse villian won. Megs is such a better villian and more deep then freiza.
The animation and voice actors were great but having the fight spoiled from the get go just ruined it. The entire point of a death battle is who wins and if I know a whole month before the fight who wins the obviously one sided fight then why watch. So many of the recent death battles have been blatantly one sided that it's not even fun to watch anymore.
The problem with the speed feats is i think dragon ball at this point is way beyond speed and time at this point Hit got bodied in the TOP and man has time hax and people straight said nah i out speed time stopping
Depends how you interpret it, I see most take it as a resistance to time-stops, rather than incalculable speed or anything, and that resistance comes with a certain level of Ki. There's more discussion to be had in it, even if you agree with that notion, but yeah, unless it's specifically stated to be because of speed, which tmk in Dragon Ball it isn't, you can't jump to the most generous assumption possible.
