Beautiful. After 3 months of having an old crusty pot of thorns in front of my house, I finally decided 5 days ago to trash it. After 3 long days of constant rain 🌧, today I woke up to take my kids to school and walking to my car, I passed by my trash outside awaiting for trash day (today) and to my surprise, what do I see? a pot full of bloomed flowers 🌺. Wow, somethings can be resurrected. And Once again, the pot, is in front of my house 🏡. Second chances to love and care for it the right way. God is good yall. Amen 🙏🏻. The power of resurrection can only be through the power of our God🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.
I had a funeral and stopped expecting a harvest... But today Resurrection has come! I'm hoping again, I'm believing again, I'm EXPECTING AGAIN!!! I'm sowing seeds expecting a harvest!
True but you can’t have two master , if u have debt u are a slave to debt put all ur cash towards ur debt to be able to serve our god , when ur out of debt u can give more -- with this u can always donate more of ur time
But if you try to force someone you have actually upset God. You aren’t God nor have that authority. If you’ve never tithed and God is okay with you, then that isn’t your path. If you are Gods child he needs you to understand your path because the devil will try to use church to exploit what he sees as short comings as an attempt to be “like God.”
Wow...before I clicked on this sermon I had a moment with God in the car and cried out to Him...God how do I forgive and not continually allow myself to be abused? Thank you for delivering this word Pastor Steven. The emotional pain has been overwhelming and I've been begging God to tell me how to do it. I wasn't even hoping to get an answer to that question when I clicked on this. I had decided to just let it go and be okay with not knowing/understanding in the midst of these trials. He truly does hear everything and answer everything in His way and time.

LET THE DIRT DO IT'S WORK Pastor Furtick NOTES Mark 4 The Parable of the Growing Seed 26 He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain-first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” Key Phrase - He does not know how. We see that his teaching is creating opposition at the same time it's creating an impact. Everything that makes impact is creating opposition. If the devil isn't messing with you, then he doesn't consider you a threat. Every where Jesus went the people felt threatened. The Pharisees He was upsetting their entire system The Demons Funny thing is the Demons knew better than the Pharisees! They fell at his feet The controversy and the compassion of Jesus we're both growing The wheat and the weeds grow together Jesus taught in parables The parable of the seed is really the parable of the soil How many of you have SEED Snatchers in your life? Jesus said the birds of the air will snatch the seed and grab your attention so you don't act on what you heard. Without application of what you read in the Word, the seed represents unused potential. Do what the Word says! If you would do what you knew then you would GROW! (note in my Bible with quote from 4/22/18) Those with the least experience give the most advice. 3 Things The farmer who puts the seed in the soil - The seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how! What kind of farmer is this? The seed needs to be planted in the right place, it needs water and light..... He said this is what the Kingdom of God is like. He said the Kingdom is like a seed. 3 Things about the Kingdom of God: Seems Insignificant Appears Invisible Often you feel Ignorant Sometimes your greatest growth is not going to feel like you are growing! Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like this (it's so small - the seed) HOW? I Don't Know How! Who did God pick to be the disciples, Or to carry His son, Sometimes it screams inside of us when God tells us what to do - I don't know how? Here is a farmer who doesn't know how to make a seed grow. Jesus said it's like that! You do what you know and He fill what you will empty before him. You don't have to understand it! You don't have to Know How when you KNOW WHO! The seed is mine but the HARVEST is HIS! I don't have to know I just have to sow Don't stop sowing There is a part that you play - you sow Let the dirt do it's work. The greatest growth was when the dirt did it's work. I can plow, I can water and I can sow. The part that produces fruit in the passage is the soil Your destiny will be revealed in the dirt. Disappointment Insecurity Rejection Trouble This is a parable not a principal Jesus can't be the farmer because the farmer doesn't know how. The principal is this, don't let what you don't know stop you from sowing. The parable the picture is of something that hasn't happened yet. Jesus knew the dirt had a purpose before He went to the cross. He stayed dead 3 days to let the dirt do it's work! Jesus was not buried on Friday he was planted! It wasn't the end - it was just beginning! Let the dirt do it's work. There is nothing that man can do to you that God can't bring it to good. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 I don't always know how because I know WHO! The emphasis on Romans 8:28 is not that it feels good. The emphasis is that I am called. The seed always looks small Or insignificant like a little boy with a lunch. The soil represents uncertainty You had a funeral and you stopped expecting a harvest. You got confused between God's job and your job. Obedience is the job of the farmer. Jesus is the seed. He is the seed of God planted in the earth for 3 days It's all about the soil God has set you free from understanding Obedience is my JOB! Outcome is GOD'S! Let Him do His Job! Let the suffering of this present time ...
Like the trinity itself, three scriptures came to mind that stayed with me since getting saved in 1978, Colorado John 3:16 Hey 11:1 and Roman's 8:28. Bible says to work your salvation out. Its exactly what convinces me and i am more certain of where I'm going when I leave here. 62 yes and always trying to be right, felt guilt and was never sure. This spiritual thing that happened is the peace I now feel, listening to one furtick sermon and then a huge weight lifted like in a blink i was on my knees in tears. Seems I was praying for knowledge and understanding. I even tried to remember all my sins. Ya right. Well I tried anyway. I asked God if necessary to take my funds away. Going to church and smoking didn't set well with me. I tried a 90 day tith challenge and was not committed. When all things eventually culminated a lesson of humility set in. Single man 10 yes and now understand im in for a lot of work. Sharing for hours with ppl walking Dozer miniature English bulldog. Then I start sharing my blessings with ppl. Its been my hobby everyday. Spending hrs sharing his words of grace and forgiveness and how could I have said hello differently . Have to go. God bless those who are seeking and aren't sure. Only know what what I know and don't assume that you know him as well or if you're seeking him. Pray for knowledge and focus in knowing him in ways never before. I asked God for strength to accomplish tasks that were coming up fast after. Satin messed with me and I ask God. I told him that I loved and sought him. God blessed me with all I prayed for and made me wanna live for a change. Love my brothers and judge no one. Peaceful life is a good 👍 thing. Amen Father. Omg I don't know how but everytime I watch the sermon I get tears on my face and I can clearly see what God wants me to do... I would love to visit this church one day and meet you, Pastor Steven Furtick. God has changed my life, using your sermons as a tool. I would love to hear one of these sermons in person. There are very few pastors on RU-vid I listen to, because many of them I feel are false prophets. But you, you speak the truth of God even if you cause controversy. You do not compromise even if you are attacked. Being a teenager in high school, this is one thing I am learning from you about spreading the Word of God in my school without fear. I'm seriously tearing up right now. Pastor Steven may God richly bless you. Its been 3weeks now and intentionally haven't prayed cuz I had a great expectation that I prayed and fasted for and with a deep conviction that God was going to grant my request it didn't turn out as expected. So many lessons in this sermon! Thank you Pastor Steven for being a conduit for Christ! This one is difficult for me to grasp and apply. Trying to understand how to have hope in the soil and let Jesus do the work. Continually I get in God’s way. I feel I’m in a battle and my focus is fear and should be faith! Praise Jesus! Help me to be obedient Lord when I am weak. I give you glory, praise and worship in the dirt of my despair, disappointed, anxious mind. Do your work and open my eyes to see.

I lost my baby boy aged 23 days . Your word touched me so much . Joshua as he was called would be 19 in July . I can affirm that God does comfort those who mourn . I learnt that Joshua literally translates Jesus saves . I was bought up a Muslim but after hearing his what his name means I gave my life to Christ and never looked back . I know my baby is in heaven I also know that when I cried out to God to ask why this happened. He blessed me with understanding the autopsy revealed he had meningitis . If Jesus hadn't come into my life the catalyst that came afterwards would of ended me . He is a awesome Father . Faithful and true . Even when I didn't know Him his hand was upon my life . Absolutely Phenomenal, Amazing how his messages are in a time capsule, never outdated and totally appropriate for today's chaotic world, we are all experiencing difficulties and emotional self reflection and our own personal crisis on some level and pray desperately for guidance and faith in this time of uncertainty and a future of unknown circumstances and stability. Wow, came across this sermon today. I have been going through a season of my life where I have had a Job like experience. Been very confused but recently made peace with the fact that I do not need to know WHY and HOW, but just surrender to it, do my part and trust God to do the rest! I am looking forward to the day when I can share my testimony of what God has done and what I am believing him farmer. This is a GREAT Pastor, messages are absolutely on point!

I struggle so much with an addiction and been trying to get a through my recovery and I don’t know why and how these thoughts will end but when I listened to this message about I don’t need to how because I know who that has changed my mindset to get through this recovery. Oh my God. This sermon...watching this during the pandemic..i am a therapist and so many people are ill and dying..losing loved ones. I am here to counsel and comfort but I DON'T KNOW HOW.
