I'm just curious as to what could possibly be taken wrong on your Tom reactions? The point of Tom's songs (as he himself gas previously stated) is to create the conversation. He doesn't expect people to blindly follow his music, he wants to get people talking.

I hate when people get mad at reactors for not agreeing with everything who they reacting to says. I like to see REAL reactions with REAL thoughts and feelings on the topic. I can always tell when a reactor is faking their reaction and just pandering to their viewers scared of backlash. The people who get mad that you disagree on a certain topic are the same people screaming people need to be more open minded and except others opinions lol. I’m a HUGE Tom fan and I don’t agree on everything he spits but I do agree with a lot that he does and respect him for saying what he thinks and feels not being scared about backlash. I agree 100% that EVERYTHING on the radio is complete trash. I've always been more of a metal/rock fan by far than anything else, and it's the damn same. There was a short time in the nineties and early 2000s when the radio played some decent stuff, but damn... it's SO bad now. The underground is where it is at in ALL genres.
Radio is trash, so true. I always go back to 50's- 60's Motown, 70's- early '80's Metal, 90's were a strange combo(trying to find myself), pop, punk, some hip-hop. So true about Country, it's so pop and PC. I thought some genres would always stay true to the soul, but they all sold out. Thanks for your great reactions. I started watching reaction channels about 2 years ago. But it was rare. Than I heard about Tom M 8 months ago. And I have been listening like a junkie. That is how I came across your channel. I am conservative, but listen and try to understand their perspective. But even if I don't agree, I don't cut all dialogue. These people who spend so much time hating and have the my way or the highway attitude are a real problem. Most have real issues and need to be helped. Unfortunately, most of those with pubic platforms that say they will help, see them as the constituency to keep them in power and offer only more disappointment.

Rock band here. We’re constantly questioning our direction when writing music because mainstream isn’t offering any new, good sound. It’s easy to say “be yourself”, but there’s that voice and/or inspiration you want when setting front of the DAW. We’ll push to create, but we’ll never make it on the radio because we’ll never create the new crap that is on the radio. Good music played on the radio is over 30 years old. They don’t even play good stuff recorded in mid to late ‘90s. The music industry is fulled with bad businessmen, who are unwilling to even look for the talent to rob. They want you begging from the very beginning like abusive pimps that they are.

I’m old enough to remember when rap started, and what was considered “hard” back then. It was straightforward, honest music that actually reflected life, even the ugly parts. Rap has become decadent, which is always followed by, “tired.” I wonder what the next real, organic music form will be?
I was in college, back when the dinosaurs were first learning to walk - you know, and taking a course on ethical philosophy. We were studying the "Golden Rule", when that evening on TV, I think Benny Hill, there was this skit: A man in a trench coat with a label that read "sadist" was selling those button pins - the type that have pictures on the front of a 2 inch diameter round with a catchy saying or political message. Except the pin on the back of these didn't bend, but went straight up 6 inches from the middle of the back of the metal disc. Another man in a trench coat walked up that was labeled "masochist", looked at the pins and asked the sadist to sell him one. The sadist replied, "No" and the masochist squealed with delight. This was the punchline of the joke, and I didn't get it. So, a fellow student explained to me what sadism and masochism were. Then I looked at my material about the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would be done unto." No, I do not want a masochist to treat me the way they wish to be treated. Nor do I want a psychopath or sociopath like Darth Harris to impose what is in her demofascist heart on the our nation. There is nothing that slave holding Marxist can want that is good for anyone human.

in the beginning he has line about the masses of idolizing their favorite artist until they are in the soil pushing flowers and because he isn't really going for the neck of the artist but the masses and music industry he has several different artist up on the wall who died unjustly including think tupac.
Whenever Tom talks about rap and the rappers in a negative light - it is mainstream. The stuff that is pushed on the kids and what is publicly portrayed as the culture.
