I honestly wish 9th and Dilla met each other they could have done tremendous work together. There was a picture of Dilla holding a little brother record.

Just when I was getting into the Billy Paul track that 9th sampled not even a week ago, I find out Mr. Paul passed away today. I'm going to continue to explore the rest of his great songs now.

I love what both Dilla and 9th are… 9th drums aren’t on the level of Dilla’s but 9th drums get that signature “knock” that will make you break your fucking neck. Dilla drums be like Sugar Ray Leonard jabs and straights and 9ths are like overhand hooks.

Everybody thinks 9th Wonder remixed J Dilla's song. But they both took different parts of a song originally made by Billy Paul- Let The Dollar Circulate and made there own remix
I dont know if its only because i heard this version 1st but i connect with this version more than dillas. Only because 9th changed it up so much. Thats the same thing i would have done. Both versions are ill but i like 9ths better only because i would have done it the same way with changing up the vocals & strings. I can listen 2 this beat all day on repeat if i could
actually, 9th did this beat first before Dilla. he did this before Little Brother put out their first album. i remember this cause someone in Greensboro used this on their mixtape. one thing for sure, both Dilla and 9th used the sample much better than Don Cannon did on Jeezy's album.
