LYRICS ~
Let us break bread together on our knees, (on our knees)
Let us break bread together on our knees. (on our knees)
When I fall on my knees with my face to the rising sun,
O Lord, have mercy on me. (on me)
Let us drink wine together on our knees, (on our knees)
Let us drink wine together on our knees. (on our knees)
When I fall on my knees with my face to the rising sun,
O Lord, have mercy on me. (on me)
Let us praise God together on our knees, (on our knees)
Let us praise God together on our knees. (on our knees)
When I fall on my knees with my face to the rising sun,
O Lord, have mercy on me. (on me)
Let us praise God together on our knees, (on our knees)
Let us praise God together on our knees. (on our knees)
When I fall on my knees with my face to the rising sun,
O Lord, have mercy if you please. (if you please)
As I read the book of Psalms in the Bible, one word that stood out to me was the word SELAH. For example in Psalms 3:4 "I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah." The word Selah means a break or an interlude with an instrument. I was moved by this word and noticed the importance of music in Psalms. As David would have "Selah" and play on his harp in his Psalm, my piano instrumentals are for you guys to worship, meditate, and connect back to God Almighty through instrumental music. May God's blessings fall on you as you listen to these Hymns.
