Oh my such memories, my grandmother use to make this for sale in Belize, but she would leave the coconut milk to set overnight and then skim off the top and cook it for the oil, I would wait patiently for the brown bottom to eat with a little sugar, NICE! The way my grandmother did it put back the squeeze milk on the fire and when it starts to boil up skim off all the white on top it will be water in the pot then you put all that cream you skim off back to the fire and you get oil on top custard on the bottom custard sweet with my dumpling.

I n remember my grandmother and my godmother making the coconut oil and using the custard with annoto seed and. Well seasoned ..boil banana dumpling ,roast breadfruit or ground provision and wash dinner down with sugar and water wi th sour orange ❤❤❤Miss Little thanks for memmories
