I may be wrong or jumping the gun, but how do we end up comparing ministers at this level? - I mean these songs are written for the church and the body of Christ, I dont think its wise for us to divide the kingdom like this....Every minister is called for a certain crowd YES FOR SURE ......It doesn't matter who sang what how.... we all praise and worship as the Holy Spirit gives us the ability....Crowds have no impact... SIndi sings the same song fresh every time on every tour !... Please check the tour videos.....It always has the same verse... And yes the words we say to God are fresh and time specific......

In fact if you check well , I’m a minister of the word through song myself. And I sincerely and dearly appreciate sis Sindi Ntombela.I’m not in anyway trying to discredit her . She’s a great minister . I loooooove her . She’s a powerhouse. Perhaps how I put the message across wasn’t to my best ability. I love them both I was just saying I personally cannot repeat or minister what Sindi did but it’s easier for me to repeat ya Mam Hlengiwe I follow Sindi I see how she ministers . Nd my comparison was based on how I can take the songs . If I can sing and follow along specifically. Not that the other is better than the other in that sense. I will still repeat , if I’m to choose one version , I’ll choose mam Hlengiwe because I’m confortable with following through . As for sis sindis version , I’m not the target market, I don’t have such pipes . I hear you cc wami yes you can repeat mam Hlengiwe because she was singing the song but for cc Sindi is not only singing but ministering and when someone is ministering she endup not alone so the words that comes from her mouth now is the holly spirit and angels speaking through her so even her she won't repeat them if you asking to perform the next day.there are times cc wami where you need to hear the song and there are times the ministering of the Lord is needed.so for me i would not compare the two but rather goes where my soul needs on that time..

There are singers and performers.just removing tht she is a minister n ministers well.singers do exactly what's on the recorded songs and leave the stage.the crowd sings every word with them frm start to finish.but a performer sings,dances,moves,acts,changes the song pitches dips etc all the crowd can do is be amazed applaud every surprise they are hit with.so as for preference or choice.for live performance I need a performer.if I wanna listen to a CD n learn a song I would listen to mam Hlengiwe.Sindi performs all songs this way on stage.search for them n see.differenr events she causes a different powerful mood n captivates tht crowd.this was not her moment it's her fabric it's who she is..the crowd is always in for a big show.thats what you pay for when you go to a live show.i won't go to listen to songs played as in the CD then artist leaves

But these are different ministrations. Mam'Hlengiwe is for the vulnerable soul and Sindi is for stubborn faith. Can't be compared. Infact, you choose according to how you're feeling at that tiime.
I don't like when people talk through songs or not singing in its original key. Which is what Sindi did. I wish she should have stuck to the originality key song. She started it well then mid way, she was all over the place. The backing vocals saved her.

The second one sounds more like the original one, the one we used to sing before Hlengiwe's studio version. I think they are both perfect but for different occasions. I would choose Sindi's one if I wanna be ushered into worship, it's the first time I listen to Sindi, I feel like she is worshipping more than performing. I would go for Sindi's one.
