4:50 is gold lmao Old Bird Missile boosting has potential to be the fastest way to get 2 handed items back to the ship, likely slower than TZP but it's free and tbf the Hazard level isn't that much worse, at least you can see...
This map with foggy is a different breed, the lights of the old birds shining through the fog is so creepy, and also it was my first time and I got completely lost on my way back to the ship, took me 5 mins but I survived with a lot of luck
Baboon hawks are definitely birds that got "baboon" in their name as a description of how they are. The crazier thing is calling them hawks to begin with, cuz they look like mutant kiwis.
In my experience, it's best to walk and jump when the robots are firing at you, as long as they are far enough away that you're not going to get grabbed. If you do that, it's really easy to surf a lucky rocket all the way out of the robot's detection range.
Could you do something like this for artifice too? Ive weirdly seen barely any videos at all of people playing it, it's completely untouched but it looks like s tier content
Damn, i dont understand how you guys are this much better than my group of people. We all have 600 hours plus and know all the strats, i guess were just not too confident and we dont have the best coms. Still, you guys are such a big inspiration! I hope youre still having fun with the game/the new update, it made it feel fresh again for me and i hope it had the same effect on you❤
Honestly my biggest gripe with old birds is that they have such a large spotting range. You can be dozens of yards from the searchlight, and still be spotted. I'd also think it would be cool if you could hack them before they activate so that they can fight each other in addition to other creatures
Oct 23, 2023 (Lethal Company beta release day) was 173 days before the day this video released. 173 * 24 = 4,152 hours. according to your thumbnail and title, you've spent 62% of your time over the past few months playing lethal company
I feel like the old birds are actually pretty close to being "balanced". Really they should just remove their grab move and fix the fall damage so that it only starts counting from where you start falling downwards.
Yeah, this game is gonna be dead VERY soon I think. When the best the dev can come up with is spamming huge robots everywhere, have those robots spamm rockets and overly loud baby and siren sounds, then it really seems like he doesn't know what he's doing in the slightest lmao. If this is how stupid this looks with actual high quota pro players, imagine how bad this is for the average players experience xD The traps are also potentially very toxic for the game, because if he doesn't restrict their spawning frequence and patterns then you can just get absolutely screwed. Imagine you enter the facility and you just die instantly because there was a trap right on the entrance. Previously if you got an unlucky turret pointing at the door, you could at least exit before it shoots and reenter to try and get in when it turned away from the door enough for you to run past, but with the spike traps it can just create 100% unfair situations. And the chaotic nature of the game does NOT justify unfair deaths with zero interactivity from the player. The "unfair" situations in the previous game build stemmed from unfortunate combinations of enemies and room patterns, the traps and giants can be unfair by themselves, no unfortunate chain of events needed. So yeah, I think the dev is showing that he's new to game making and doesn't really get what makes a healthy game right now. Can't blame him if this is his first published game, gotta live and learn, but ofc since it blew up so much there's more pressure and attention on him than there usually would be for an indie developers first game.
It's a public beta, full release isn't out, wait to see what he changes before you judge so hard In terms of his game developing, he's made some other fully fleshed games that even had top RU-vidrs like Markiplier etc playing, and ofc lethal company so why don't you try making a game this good/popular
@@benfrancois2924 1: The "Try it yourself" argument is flawed logic bro. You can criticise stuff without doing it yourself, that's obvious if you try and think for 2 seconds before posting.. 2: It's not about specific balance changes, but about OBVIOUS MASSIVE DESIGN FLAWS! The traps are bad by design and so is the robot spam. You cannot justify everything by saying it's not finished yet, if an idea is completely and obviously terrible and the developer still puts it in the beta, then that means the developer was unable to see the obvious problems without feedback. Meaning he doesn't understand balancing well at all. Think before you type, cause nothing in your comment actually adresses my criticisms or gives a single valid argument for anything.
@@call_me_bread Fair enough for this specific moon I guess? But the traps spawn everywhere now and the robots can spawn in most places with non insignificant chances can't they? So my major concerns still seem pretty valid. Also, wasting dev time on a moon that is just means to be impossibly terrible just seems weird to me to say the least, when players are sitll asking for more actual good moons and balance changes to existing moons. That just seems like bad customer service, to add a troll moon when people are actually asking for more cool moons ^^'
