Not useless at all. I make sure to get gold on my 7ft build and he swatting ish out the sky. Comes in handy when helping in/near the paint. Make sure you don't go cheap on agility though. You can't be a slug on the court and expect a badge that boosts "when moving at a high speed" to be beneficial for you 😂
I got it on HOF on my center caught a chase down on a PG in the clutch on a fast break threw his lay up off the backboard and out of bounds it literally won the game for us..
@LaMartyMar interior is way more important than strength for anything interior related strength helps with multiple things so it isn't as useful for interior Aleast that's how 2k made it
@@edortizamauri6524 ong, post offense badges are way stronger than post defense badges. Makes it feel like there’s nothing you can do but hope offense mistimes there shot and hopefully you get the rebound.
Great video as always. To add some qualitative data, I can definitely feel the nerf this year. Last year, I could shoot blind folded from my lethal zones. This year, they feel good, but not totally game changing. Still helps, but I don’t think it’s “necessary” for shooters to be elite.
the rough estimation of around 7% should apply to any other badge/stat combinations. All stat testings are just estimations because it's impossible to test something using all combination of stat, badges, distance.
@@nba2ktutes that’s fair, testing all 3pt would be a lot. Maybe only testing low rating (70 3 pt) vs high rating (90 3pt) would have value. Just to confirm the boost is the same.
@@DarkE93 yes that's a good idea too but testing for another batch means another 3-4 hours of testing. Based on my testings all throughout the years, yeah the values may change but it won't be much. So let's say thistest pulled around 7% then maybe testing it on lower ratings might pull 7.5%. 7% boost means you'll make 107 shots instead of 100, and 7.5% won't even be 108. That's how small these differences will be. That's not worth 3-4 hours of my time. I might as well move on to the next topic that needs more attention
Hey,could be great to test the difference on speed with ball on 75,86 and 91 with the same badges and also test the impact of different level of lightning launch for the same attributes. Your videos are helping a lot !!
How about handles for days ? I know stamina impacts shot timing so it would be interesting to see how much stamina it saves and what is the sweet spot. Thanks for all that you do.
We're talking about shooting boost. I don't think they will decide "Ok let's put +3 on Lethal and just for the fun of it let's put +4 on Hot zones on the program". It's just a matter of 1-2 amendments on their codes. It's good to test for confirmation but sometimes there will be things that will be obvious enough to assume. If it will only take 10 mins, why not? but we're talking about another 3-4 hours of testing here.
@@nba2ktutes I get it, it makes sense and it's probably not worth your time, nor am I requesting you to do it, However in previous 2k's we've seen silver badges straight up worse than bronzes, we've seen badges not providing any boost at all. Can't use common sense with 2k.
@@6reps Yes, it could happen on animation-based badges. Like maybe they categorized an animation to be on higher tier and after some test, the results show that specific animation is not that good and some animation on lower tier are better in terms of stats. I don't think it can happen on shooting badges though, because it's easier to program. It's just matter of increasing the value on their codes. I wouldn't be surprised if a badge is like (bronze +1 3pt rating, silver +2 3pt rating, gold +3 rpt rating.. so forth). This is just based on my years of testings so far.
Alright so what we gone do about the Fouls when pulling up for a shot!?… the defender jumps and gets away with murder and is given a block????…wtf🥴 and I’m on the floor dead 😵 with no foul call… how can I avoid that?👀😭😭😭😭
you should test marksmen shooter, been debating on going 94 three for it gold or saving some points and just going 93 three pointer if it isn’t worth it.
Tutes can you see if weight has something to do with your vertical leap on rebounds? I made a build that’s 238 and 261 but have the same vert and rebound and unsure if weight is a factor.
I'm glad they nerfed this boost. I remember having to grind wack mycareer back in the days to get my hot zones, which were very important. Now I can just get it naturally based on my park play
You can’t compare both boosts. With rhythm shooting, green window will be larger but to benefit from it you have to work for it (and some risk involed). With lethal zone boost, it will always be there and you don’t need to do something new, just press the button as you always do.
Can you do glove and interceptor! One thing I did notice in this 2k that plucking someone doesn’t happen that much so I was curious if it’s cause of unpluckable being buffed or glove being nerfed since there’s no right stick ripper badge
Yeah I’m ngl this video doesn’t feel accurate to my experience at least with the stick. No lethal zone I shoot like 40-45%, with the lethal zone I shoot like 60-65%
@@nba2ktutes I don't think sweet spot is what should be looked at in this case. Since most will only typically have 2 Lethal Zones, it will be good to know how much of a boost there is from Hot to Lethal. Also, the penalty for cold is something to know as well.
Would love to see your method for getting lethal zones.. let's be honest lethal shooter barely misses. I think they made it just a little too difficult. The only way I've been able to find consistency when playing him is if I use the rhythm Stick shooting. Other than that it's really difficult. I would say they need to make it a bit easier
I feel like I green more with square then the stick. I probably might have to change my jumper scottie puppet and tj Warren don't work as well for me in this 2k
