Won't happen for awhile. It's just muay thai with headbutts and no rules lol. Even knocking your opponent out doesn't end the match

lethwei is not really a good sport, the rule set is not set for longevity of fighters.

It existed before Muay Thai. When Burmese Kings conquered Thailand, the martial arts was brought there. Muay Thai becomes widely recognized because of educated Thai fighters. They made some adjustment to develop nowadays 'Muay Thai.' Burmese fighters are not educated, and don't know how to promote their martial arts. And, there has no improvement in technique too. @@jueviolegrace8109

Pongsiri broke Fabio's chin with that headkick. Fabio was never the same after the Pongsiri rematch.

The saddest part is, had Fabio won that fight, let alone KO’ed Pongsiri, he’d have been undeniable for that contract, now his chances are nonexistent

Far from intentional and the match didn't end in the same round so doesn't count. Think about Soe Lin Oo got a lot more hits and damage than eye poking and still didn't fall out. No excuses and deserved a win.
