"Tish.. The Family..." Because that's who has the phone.... They can't answer, but they don't have the right to ignore the call... I'd feel awful too blowing up the deceased phone with the family hearing the alerts...
@@marco7838 They probably had Chadwick’s phone with them. Seeing it ringing and knowing that Chadwick will never answer a call again could have been hard for them
I think Chad's death to this day can still bring you to tears even if you never met him. You can be a fan of his work or attracted to his personality or inspired. He was at the top of his career and I believe though he had already done amazing projects that he was praised for, becoming T'challa/Black Panther put the seal on him be an acclaimed worldwide actor. I remember after BP1 was released and saw him in interviews and award shows as well as in the ending of Avengers Endgame, I told my cousins that Chad may be going through something because he was looking thinner. They were like he may have been getting ready for a new movie role. As months went by, then people on social media started to get really concern and eventually it happened. It was the most shocking and heart breaking moment since Aaliyah. His death also reminded me of her because both had just got to the top of the careers only to short live it. Also, being from the same hometown as he is and driving down a road and you always see a street name 'Chadwick. It really is heart breaking to this day. Cancer is just taking everybody out and we don't know if it will hit us or not. I have several family members who have passed from it. I really hope that research on the different forms of cancer can progress to find cures.
Hey Mike! You have spoken my exact sentiments that I have said many times before! And you’re right Black Panther put the SEAL on his life for sure even after he’s done a few movies afterwards. I live in Greenwood so I wasn’t far from him either but never got to meet him! But I’m a fan for life! And his personality and drive and passion for the love of people and his craft showed up in EVERYTHING he did! I just wish that I had met him like many other people that feel that way! But God knew how to make Chadwick’s mark on this world 🌎 and He did it profoundly! Rest In Power Chadwick! 🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️WAKANDA FOREVER ♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾
from the beginning towards the very end of bp1, he definitely looked thinner... especially in infinity war and endgame. it's so sad that he was going through all of that in silence ❤
I did the same thing when my dad died. I kept calling his number for about a year until it finally got disconnected. I was only 12 so I couldn’t wrap my head around what happened. I thought I was crazy until I watched this video. Love her sm❤
Ik how u feel, my dad when I was 12 back in 2015 and I was calling to check on him and there was no answer, so my brother calls from our dads phone to tell us that he got into a real bad accident that killed him instantly. That was a nightmare 😞
Everytime I see her, I think of Chadwick. They were like siblings in real life too, and that was not just a feeling of fans, you can tell by her voice. I am so sorry for her and everyone, who was close to him.
This is the hard part about a quick loss, it shocks you to the point that it cannot be real. Hearing her speak about his death makes the tribute scene hit even harder because that’s what it felt they were conveying when I saw BP2
My brother called me to tell me our sister died. Didn't believe it. I called my sister and when her friend answered her phone, I knew she was gone. No one had EVER answered my sister's phone. I definitely understand what she was going through. RIP KING CHADWICK BOSEMAN.
Oh man, can you imagine losing a loved one and their phone keeps ringing? I understand how people call because it's such shocking news to get your head around and sometimes their voicemail is the only way to hear their voice again. But I had never thought of what it's like for the people on the other side who have the deceased's phone.
I never thought about it either. When my brother passed away super suddenly at 30 years old I actually had his phone and answered those calls. I didn’t know his friends personally and I wanted to make sure they knew what was happening and had some way to get in contact with us for his arrangements. It is such a crazy thing you never think about until it happens. When I tell you some of those calls still haunt me. I hated having to cut short their hopes that he would pick up the phone.
A 22yo friend of mine had a sudden cardiac arrest in front of his girlfriend and she kept his phone. Some people sent messages to ask him why he wasn't coming to class anymore. Some even thought that he was mad at them and was pretending to be dead so that he didn't have to reply. They kept trying to contact him through different social media platforms and his gf had to keep explaining them that she was the one at the other end of the phone
I was there at my father's death this was 6 yrs ago and it still hurts me to this day. I had dreams about him. Visualization of him walking through the door coming home from work. I hear him. The pain never really goes away neither all the extra that comes with it. It just gets quieter over time, but it is still always there. R.I.P. Chadwick Boseman.
💙💙💙💙 I don’t really say this about many actors but Chadwick was so special. He had so much star quality, and in a different league to anyone else. Black panther 2 was a brilliant tribute to him.
@@aurorae913 I think they call her "Tish" for short. Her name is Letitia pronounced "Leh-tish-ah". So Tish for short. That's my guess. But the family I think he meant the family is going through a heartbreaking loss, you can't keep calling his phone like that.
He probably was saying that she should call the family to hear from someone and not Chadwick because he was already gone. Seeing the impact Daniel’s words had on her, Chadwick was likely someone that picked up every time she called. So, for her to have to go through his family to reach him immediately made her realize that he was truly gone because that would have been uncharacteristic of him.
Oh she’s so heartbroken. And yet she had the gull not to want to get vaccinated during the worse of Covid. Btw Chadwick Boseman started deteriorating , rapidly during COVID. When the lockdowns first started. His wife spoke about it with abc after his passing. Imagine if he was alive during this time. She would have been the one on set potentially comprising him unknowingly ;Because they kept his cancer secret . And she was pulling all this after his death ! Shes scum
I have always maintained my belief that of all of Chadwick Boseman’s cast mates from the _Black Panther_ films, the ones who were hit the hardest by the news of his passing were Lupita, Letitia, and MBJ. This interview Tish gave reaffirms my stance.
I took his death way harder than I thought, so there’s no way I can imagine hearing about it, thinking it’s bullshit then blowing up his phone,…. And not getting an answer.
T_T all i can say, the cast are damn strong. If me, i can't even go on with the project and it'll be hard to give best performance for each shot T_T i want to say to every cast and team on the movie, thank you T_T chad would be proud the production move forward.
Oh she was so upset. And yet she had the gull not to want to get vaccinated during the worse of Covid. Btw Chadwick Boseman started deteriorating , rapidly during COVID. When the lockdowns first started. His wife spoke about it with abc after his passing. Imagine if he was alive during this time. The day he died was on my mom's 59th birthday. She was in Aspen at the time and I was home. I'm just chilling on my balcony and I get phone call from a friend that to college with me. She tells me the news and I go "I don't believe. Stop playing pranks with me". Then I go on the internet and saw it was confirmed.
The problem with actors is they are PROFESSIONAL LIARS. As much as I want to believe them...I can't. The Rock says he was born in "san francisco" but he's actually from Hayward. Now it's no the same thing but if actors lie about trivial things then what else will they lie about. Actors are great for entertainment but nothing else. R.I.P. CHADWICK. A great entertainer.
The problem with people is that once they know someone is an actor, every word they say or emotion they express is met with scepticism. No one trusts them to be genuine or sincere, even though they are human too. Such a shame that all actors are tarnished with the same brush.
@Blank Stare incorrect. Actors lie for a living. That's what acting is, pretending. A fantasy, a falsehood, a LIE. So NO. Not some, they All lie. ALL OF THEM. Wake up.
You do realise that actors still remain real humans with real emotions right? When they're acting, they work with a script & get to redo mistakes over & over again. Doesn't mean they'll be good "liars" in real life situations. What would even be the purpose of lying about the tragedy? Nothing she's said sounds out of the ordinary in such situation.
@Dorcas Dhiran 🤦🏽♂️lol wow. Tell Santa clause and the Easter bunny I said hi while you're at it lol also the moon is made of cheese lol good luck out there buddy
I know people are emotional fools, but these celebs should stop taking advantage of it. Stop profiting out of a good man's death. Allow him to rest in peace.
To my knowledge, she’s never opened up about this before. She was already there for press for Wakanda Forever, she’s not profiting off of his death. She still would’ve been sitting in that chair, answering question, and making money, whether she talked about his death or not. It’s not like she’s making more money for talking about his death or she’s there to talk about his death, she’s there to promote the new film she’s starring in. And obviously the topic of Chadwick was going to come up at some point, or even numerous times, during the tour because he was literally the leading man of the previous film. Plus he’s in the new film as it pays homage to him.
This comment just makes no sense to me. I’m honestly surprised they haven’t talked about him a little bit more because they’re doing these interviews to promote a movie he was supposed to be the lead of, and a movie he was in. It’s common sense that they would talk about him, and it would be kind of weird if they didn’t at any point. It was supposed to be his movie that they’re sitting there promoting.
