Gotta say I love reading the racing community comments. I agree with some, get perspective always, everyone (except, my opinion, the "don't abuse these animals!!" folk) has valid points of view though I might see things about horses, trainers, etc differently. It's simply a pleasure to talk horses with knowledgeable people. Thank you all.
Throw in monomoy girl who i still think is the best mare, letruska only beat her by a nose while getting 10 pds and it be the best race at the breeders cup. swiss skydiver should retired she lost a step and no longer the beast she was.
Her form since the Preakness has been a disappointment, but she does have another G1 win since then, the Beholder Mile in March of this year, and a third in another G1, the Apple Blossom. She's got more than 2 million in earnings. No, she's not Rachel, but still, a very good racehorse, seemingly past her peak.
