I'm only five minutes in, but wanted to say that as a representative of your target audience (I dress vintage daily, and watch primarily vintage content) I did thoroughly enjoy all your vlogs and loved seeing how you hang out with friends who all have their own unique styles! It didn't ruin the vibe for me, although I understand where your desire to stick to the curated visuals stems from. Dunno, I felt like it was even more interesting to see this sort of clash of styles, and I would love to see more! Especially since you feel that you'd actually want to vlog more - go for it!

I always enjoys seeing "vintage" vloggers living their real lives too. We all do, even with our love of vintage it's never your whole life so it's nice to see how others fit vintage into the modern world. I'd love to hear more about your life in Toronto- both vintage and non-vintage focused!

I think there is something really fascinating when you see a vintage styled person in modern day, living their every day life ❤ I love seeing you go to heritage buildings and quaint places but it’s also fun to see you go about your every day life! ☺️

Please feel free to post whatever makes you feel happy and fulfilled, because I'm sure most, if not all, of your subscribers will enjoy whatever you feel happy posting. I've had to deal with similar feelings about my channel, and I've come to the conclusion that if someone is so fickle to complain about "pure aesthetics" or "that you are not vintage enough", then that is a problem with them, not you.

I think you could totally do just everyday fun vlogs. One of my favorite other vloggers is Morgan Long and she has kind of a Booktuber slant but her vlogs also just have cooking, jigsaw puzzles, studying foreign languages, going on outings with friends, etc, and I think you could certainly be like that...like vintage is still the "vibe" of your vlogs but not the only thing that happens. I just thrifted a very similar 80s nautical sweater but mine is navy blue and part of the reason I picked it up was I thought "oh this is so Carolina Pinglo!" lol

I feel your frustration about not being able to change the world around you. I'd like to be surrounded in a more vintage oriented place with more like-minded people. Sometimes I search for towns/areas/countries where that might be possible. But with that said, I also like the idea of seeing videos of you out in more everyday modern type of places as well. As someone who's always dressing vintage myself, I can relate to that. All of your content is always great and I Iook forward to seeing more.

In January you can show your previous year favorite finds and February you can show how you mix and match them. Only a suggestion cause I love your style!

That’s a beautiful blouse at you! A nice red cardigan in marine style. I remember the Murray’s orange wax hair style tins from my hairdresser when I was young. 😊 I understand completely what you say about the vintage world. I like to dress in 20s and 50s style. I love lace and the tulle dresses from the 20s are so light and comfy to wear! The movies about the 20s and 50s and making your house look like then.., but it seems a bit like a dreamworld, it’s not really coming back again. 😢 But when I am at my mothers; she is 86 years old now; born in 1937. So she was a young girl/woman in the 50s, I believe she met my father in 1958. So she is really old right now, living in her own little world, doesn’t speak much any more. But when she sees me putting my 50s style swing coat back on, wearing a pretty dress with tights, earrings, a handbag and feminine shoes, she looks so happy and admiring at me and says; You look so pretty 🤩 And that is so sweet of her remembering her own past, I give her an extra cuddle and kiss before I leave. 😘😊

I love the skirt you paired the blue blouse with. I have the same blouse and paired it with a dark blue skirt. I wasn't quite happy with that combination and I'd love to get a skirt in off white to pair it with. :)

So glad you're leaning even more into your 1940's looks. I was worried where this video was going. I was like, nooooooooo...please don't start doing regular contemporary hauls and looks!! I would be so sad! Carolina, have you thought about reaching out to other vintage creators who live here? Or even joining some groups. I see the locals you shoot at around the city, and I'm sure there are some underground cool vintage, retro locations you could shoot at or experience. I'm gonna look into it:) How about swing dance groups/clubs. Or maybe you could promote a vintage event. I would LOVE to go to one. I'll be the first on your list of attendees! And I sooo understand about January and February. I mean we live in Canada after-all and this year was worse than ever. Depression and lack of energy hit me like a boulder. It was horribly grey and so much rain. Ugh. It made me vow to work really hard this year so I could save money so I could live some place tropical for January, February next year. I'm not going through that again. And lastly I love how you're styling your hair Carolina. This look and length is perfect. Its never looked better. I went on line to find that amazing mirror you found on FB Market place, but doing the search I couldn't find the right words to describe it so nothing came up. I tired "sanding makeup mirror", "standing hand mirror" and "mirror with stand" stuff like that 😂 and nothing even close to your fabulous mirror came up! What was yours called or what did you search for on FB? Love you girl! Keep doing what you're doing!

Talking about podcasts, there is a podcast just for this year on Little House on the Prairie because it is their 50th anniversary called 50 for 50. They are taking each week of the year and having a discussion once a week during the year. They started mid-January. That is why they are only doing 50 weeks out of the year. I thought you might be interested because it is a historical fiction tv show. Also as an idea, you could do a podcast with another RU-vidr/TikToker on vintage fashion. You could have a different person each episode. I do love your new blouse, but I really love that sweater.

I’m thinking different hair styles, foods, desserts or a week in the life, evening routines, morning routines. I would love to see some of these from that era. I totally love your channel & am just starting to collect & change to 1940’s vintage style clothes & items so any advice you could give would be appreciated. I look forward to your videos. ❤❤

I miss being able to buy really decent slips from Kresge's, Woolworth's, Eaton's, Simpson's and Marks and Spencer in Toronto back in the 70s. Also, some of the the 70s clothing styles were very 1930s, while the 80s were rocking the 1940s shoulder pads!

I look forward every week to your videos. I do think you are overthinking it. I would wear 40s vintage if I could, but I am a leaning towards plus size older woman, and I end up looking frumpy and old in dresses. I do wear sweaters and skirts when I can. I have a younger friend who dresses 50/60s, and she looks great. She is a much smaller size too. You look fabulous! Your content is not defeated by the current world around you.
