THE CONFESSION OF A SPIRITUAL BEING
“I am not just a human being, having a temporary spiritual experience,
I am a spiritual being, having a temporary human experience.”
My daily struggle is not against people made of flesh and blood but against persons without bodies who use people-it’s spiritual!
Even though my day-to-day experience is as a human being, I must be conscious that my experiences are not like other human beings, mine are spiritual.
Every day I am contending in spiritual warfare that is normal christian life but I have been given powerful weapons to defeat my adversaries-they are spiritual. Our enemies consider my weapons to be weak, futile and foolish, but they are wrong-just ask Goliath! They may look natural, but they are spiritual.
Though the battle may be intense at times, I am admonished not to be weary in the well-doing, the victory is assured-if I don’t quit. I must realize that the battle is not mine, but the Lord’s!
My mouth and my hands are instruments of worship and warfare! And I am committed to use them in His name! Amen!
