OMG I laughed all the way threw this video! Your like a kid with a new toy when your not in the excavator. Your enthusiasm and singing abilities kept us entertained!! 💞💞💞💞
I drove one right through a town ( only once as I was delivering it to a cutpomer ) it was a 1975 General Motors TEREX model 3305 ( I seem to remember that was the model number), and like Chris, I got more than a few weird looks from passing drivers too I can assure you. I'd love to be able to do that again!
Drove semi for 25 years and the closest I got to what Chris is doing is one place I worked I ran a 35 yard end dump and had to load myself. The company had one wheel loader and three different sites that we had use it at. It was a John Deere 644 with a 4 yard bucket. So if I had to go out to the compost yard or the peat bog I drove the loader out first. Some of it was just going up the shoulder of the highway for a couple miles and then dirt roads but one place I had to run right up the traffic Lanes with everybody doing their damnedest to get around me and smash into something. As long as I had a slow-moving vehicle sign on the back and at least one light showing to the rear it was perfectly legal. That thing had all the lights and turn signals that you would need for a street legal vehicle anyways. But fond memories
I'm a retired truck driver and that was funny I have done that same thing before I liked you talking to your truck and the people on the road that was funny
I don't know how I missed this video, but it has to be one of you best Chris! I was hoping you could have seen someone in their lifted pickup to honk at!
Man that was a "Stevey" driving job at best. Wade would be proud. Nice to be able to save a few buck's on transport cost and we got the humor of a road trip
East bound and down...loaded up and trucking...we gone do what they say can't be done, we've got a long way to go but a short time to get there,, so just sit right down and watch ol Christopher Run... I just ran across this ol video Chris. LoL I love it! You should put this one on TicToc.
I had a grille on my old Canyon. I miss it, cuz now I’m paranoid someone is going to plow into me. They all stayed clear when i had the old truck! “I would say “go ahead, make my day! Hit me!. No one took me up on it. 😉
Them trucks are a blast to drive , they go bout anywhere , the bed can ture over and the cab with u in it stays up right its cool when it happens, I drove a 25D for a while it was fun seein just what they would do and go
“ B A M “ ... Trash cans, “ B A M “ ... FedEx... 😂 I Sure do Miss the backroads of NC, but that stop 🛑 at 8:24 🕘 reminds me of WHY we left the Cary, Raleigh area, in 2003, to many people per square foot 🦶 Nonetheless, we really like the the country roads in the Backwoods of N. Floow’da too. 👍✅😎
And a short time to get there, now watch ol yeller run ! 😊 Those cars was about to run plum off the road to get outa the way ! 😁 Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
Couple months ago we had to road 3 of our scrapers to another job. Only about 6-7 miles but pretty busy roads. One of the most fun times I've ever had in a scraper. 3 Cat 631g's in a convoy gets some attention. Great video keep em coming
Kudos to you , you did the quick, safe and cheap way! On our moving days, the bulldozers, excavators, steel rollers, etc. were loaded on the lowboys. Wheel loaders, backhoes and graders were sent down the road on their on.....if it could be done in 3.5 hrs. or less! 'Rubber tire roading' is safe, as cheap or less and as quick. Everyone arrived on the job at nearly same time. (Two lane roads only). ....13
Hell your in my back yard lol. I tend the hay on the farm with the nice fence. Several big ponds on that farm. None of them had been maintained before he bought it. He's spent a pile cleaning it up and fixing them but it's beautiful back in there now.
Evasive action 🤣🤣. This was a full on video went for a ride got to listen to some singing watch a 18 wheeler buzz past you then evasive action 😂 Great Video 💯
Longest wheeling job to job so far for me, Volvo L180c 75 miles /120km, took quite some time. Got quite some looks, 3.35m (aprox 10ft) wide bucket. /cheers from Sweden.
Probably a good trip for that truck. Got all the fluids a lubricants warm and flushed around. Knock some of the dirt out of the brakes and clear the injectors. Plus got to hear you humming the theme song to Smokey and the Bandit.
we road our off road trucks and front loaders to different jobs all the time here in Michigan. just takes awhile, furthest I've gone in a loader was about 30 miles took me somewhere around 3 hours, at a max speed of 15 mph
@letsdig18 This is the best hands down video that made me had to pause the video for laughing uncontrollably! Thanks bro for the awesome early birthday laughs!
My dad back in the 80s drove a International 350 payhauler from the Garner NC quarry to the old North Carolina equipment Co in downtown Raleigh . At 3 in the morning . Had to have work done and he didn't want to pay to have a truck like that hauled lol
We call it a Texas Transit here. If it has rubber tires hell or even rubber tracks we'll drive it on the road. Graders, loaders and backhoe are common along with ag tractors with mowing implements. But I've seen Scrapers, mini track loaders, excavators Skid steers run on the roads around here.
