Lets Play Kirby and the Forgotten Land - FINALE? 

Yeah Kirby final bosses are infamous for being way more horrifying eldritch creatures that clash with the rest of the game

Yes, Dedede and Kirby are friends. I mentioned this in a comment on a past ep, but I can reiterate. The Iconic Masked Dedede fight from Super Star Ultra was the battle that finally settled the grudge between the two. That was canonically the last time Dedede actually fought Kirby of his own volition. They cross hammers occasionally in spinoffs, but its always more of a "let's see whos stronger" kind of thing and not an "I am actively trying to kill you" type thing. While this character development is REALLY cool, it does unfortunately mean that Dedede is a regular victim of possession and brainwashing so that Kirby games can still have Dedede battles in them.

Did you know that Forgotten Land is the first Kirby game to get a Fear warning in its rating? *Now we know why.*

Btw, the song that plays right near the end of the fight is called "Two planets approach the roche limit" i REALLY reccomend you look up what the Roche limit is lol, song title is goated

Ok, here's a theory, time moves more quickly in the forgotten land than in dreamland. When Kirby was first transported, he was the last one to arrive, as he was trying to get away using the warp star. This was not a big difference in Dreamland, but it definitely was in the Forgotten Land, as Elfillin had time to get to know the Waddle Dees individually and build an entire god dang society before Kirby arrived. This also explains how Clawoline had time to save Elfillin while he reappeared in only a few seconds.

Kirby running over a final boss with a big rig is going to go down in history.

To clarify a few things you talked about this episode: Kirby’s home is indeed called dreamland, so no, the people weren’t absorbed The people who were sent there aren’t Kirby and his friends, but instead a race called the ancients (real creative name right there) And lastly, the part in the credits where it shows the HAL inside a level is located in a level really early on in the game, and there are a bunch of secrets like that that you could have discovered at any time if you looked for them Edit: grammer

id really recommand playing the entire postgame. Its quite sizeable and provide both some challenging levels, new content and even continue the story. The difficulty ramp up quite a bit compared to the main game, but its all pretty doable, especially if you take advantage of items to keep you alive in the harder fights.

Elfilis is so freaking cool, they immediately jumped up to one of my top 3 favourite characters when I first beat this game, it just has such a cool design and great theme. Always great to watch the ending sequence again!

I’m a massive Kirby fan. In a franchise with bleeding eyeballs, bosses who rip themselves in half to attack you and destroying the remnants of a guys soul while he screams in agony in the background, I can say that Fecto Forgo might be the most grotesque Also considering the designs of characters like Leongar and especially Clawroline, I wouldn’t be surprised if this game caused some kids to eventually become furries

Almost *every* kirby game, and (as far as i know) every 3d kirby game has a CRAZY ammount of post game! thanks so much for this amazing series, and heres to many more!

And here we are, the part we've all been waiting for most since the very beginning! Kirby final bosses have a reputation for being crazy, but I feel like they went above and beyond this time around. The build-up, the atmosphere, Elfilis's design, that MUSIC! THE FINAE! It's all top-tier. Welp, as expected, you are part of the 99.8% of LPers who heard "ultimate life-form" and immediately went "Shadow the Hedgehog?" You did not, however, join the somewhat smaller group equating big-rig Kirby with Optimus Prime. Looking forward to the postgame parts!

And now on to the H-A-R-D _hard_ part of the game.

I love seeing people react to the tone shifts in Kirby games. I think this one especially had a lot of players that were relatively new to the franchise and the “isn’t this the game about the cute pink thing?” reactions never get old lol. Cant wait for the postgame!

There's at least 2 episodes worth of content, maybe even 4. This episode makes clear that the few seconds Elflin was missing was actually days long on the forgotten side.

I love the second King DDD boss so much once again it’s one of my favourite bosses. Also the final to this game is insane, the cuteness, the story and the final fight is one of the best final bosses in Kirby, also the fact they have voice acting before Pokemon… oh my days… the 7th world intro gave me chills and feels… don’t worry everyone they are no where near the end yet. ❤️⭐️👍

This apocalyptic finale is the kind of stuff I live for. I knew I'd love this game just from the theming alone. Playing it on my own will be awesome once I get the chance o_o

Nothing will compare to the visceral reaction I had when I heard the english voice in the elevator. There was something so... wrong about it. (This is a good thing.) It really hammers in the fact that this was a world of humans. They probably screwed the earth up too much, and then abandoned it when they had the chance to go to another world, leaving all the animals to grow, mutate, and evolve. And yeah, if I had to live in a wasteland, I'd get angry too.

Dedede has always been less of an antagonist to kirby and more of a rival, the antagonists are usually the evil, creepy abominations pulling strings from the background, that almost always shift into ungodly eldritch horrors in their final phase

I have been looking forward to this for a looong while, and this is already worth it even with the first 5 mins missing. Lol Edit: Pro tip, change your controls to type B in the pause menu

Somethings to think about and something to make you laugh. It is funny to think that this creature Fecto Elfilis isekai’d Kirby, so Kirby became truck-kun to isekai him back. Something interesting to think about the names Fecto and Forgo have their roots in Latin. Fecto being roughly perfectly or completely and Forgo being forgotten. Forgo Dedede - Forgotten Dedede, Fecto Forgo - Completely Forgotten, and Fecto Elfilis - Perfect Elfilis. I have nothing to back this up but I personally think that the names Elfilin and Elfilis are supposed to give an Engrish impression of Evil In and Evil Is

Discovered you both through this let's play and had a fun time. I no longer have the same motivation I used to have to binge let's plays, but you two are just super chill to listen to. The joke of Casey messing up the name of the game will never not be funny to me Kirby lore is always purposfelly vague and kept out of focus, but the main consensus on this game seems to be that the former denizens of the Forgotten Land are probably a group known as "The Ancients" which were introduced in Kirby's Return to Dreamland. Fecto Elfilis' warp portals certainly look similar to some of the warp technology left behind by the ancients in that game.

As much as I need you two playing every Kirby game in my life, it should be known that you're never TRULY done experiencing new content and lore until you are victorious in whatever the most difficult version of the arena is for that game...at least from Kirby Super Star Ultra and forward. In any game prior to that, you're probably fine so long as the file says 100% for the main adventure...at least, for the Dark Matter Trilogy.

I cried two tiem during that episode, both times because of Elflin hes just so precious i can't do this. Also i did find you guys trough these series, i found you both incredibly delightful and entrtaining so i decided to stick around. Right now im watching your other letsplays and honestly i never thought i would enjoy any Mario playtrough, but your Mario Origami King has proved me wrong. You actually weren't wrong about Kirby living in Dreamland - Dreamland is a country on Planet Popstar.

The post game is genuinely fun and I highly recommend it. The difficulty actually amps up considerably, and you even get more story! And I recommend the arenas if you have time/desire. This is the first game to genuinely integrate the arena into the story mode itself, so you actually get a whole new cutscene of story relevant stuff after beating all of the arena difficulties.

Just letting you know, your going to want to do the postgame and the final arena.

Damn, even by kirby standards, this finale is completely over-the-top and batshit insane lol. I love it!

Here's the thing, you have to play the Kirby games now, ALL of them, even Kirby Battle Royale (Yes, that is a real game), we aren't asking.

Also, if you think this ending is crazy, Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot are pretty wild too XD

kirby games tend to have REALLY cool final bosses (except the first game, which jsut ahd dedede) and popsta and dreamland are basically interchangable names for kirby's home. Popstar's the planet's name while dreamland I beleive is just the general area on the planet everyone lives on?

Next you guys should try Omocat's Omori and Playdead's Limbo/Inside!! Omori is a RPG and Playdead's games are puzzle platformers, but both are narrative based and absolutely worth your time. If ya'll liked Undertale and Deltrarune I think you'll really like Omori.

It’s a line around a planet and when a smaller celestial body crosses it, the smaller one begins to disintegrate and usually becomes the larger one’s rings.
